Poiché è il primo lunedì del mese, presentiamo come sempre un marchio/azienda. Questa settimana stiamo tutti usando alcuni favolosi prodotti di Paper Artsy. Non dovete usarli per partecipare alla sfida, ma se li avete ci piacerebbe vederli nelle vostre creazioni.
Questa settimana diamo il bentornato all'adorabile Laura Cassina come Designer Spotlight del mese di Febbraio. Se non avete mai visitato il suo profilo Instagram prima, vi aspetta una vera sorpresa.

Questa settimana ho realizzato una card utilizzando la Grunge Paste Texture medium di Paper Artsy insieme allo stencil Stitches di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous. Con questi due elementi ho decorato il grande cuore di Sizzix, Lovestruck Colorize,e ho aggiunto il coniglietto, davvero adorabile, dalla fustella Bunny Stitch dell'ultima collezione. Probabilmente sono rimasta influenzata dalla diretta su YouTube di sabato di Tim Holtz che ha presentato la collezione delle sue stoffe e così ho utilizzato tutti elementi nell'ambito del tema cucire/ cuciture.
Per decorare gli angoli della card ho scelto un set sempre a tema cuciture di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stitches CMS365 timbrato con Versamark e Ranger Vintage Pearl Embossing powder. Il sentiment da un altro set, Noteworthy CMS 446.
Se guardate con attenzione le foto dei dettagli vedrete che il coniglietto è di feltro. Per tagliare il feltro con le fustelle sottili io ho un piccolo trucco. Per prima cosa attacco il pezzetto di feltro che devo utilizzare su un cartoncino tipo bazzill, e tra la fustella e il feltro metto un ritaglio di quella che in Italia si chiama Carta Forno (non so esattamente come si chiama negli Stati Uniti, forse Parchment Paper? Se qualcuno lo sa e me lo scrive su Instagram glene sarò davvero grata!). In questo modo il feltro non si sfilaccia molto e il taglio viene un pochino più preciso. Io aggiungo anche un foglio di carta sottile nel sandwich da passare nella Big Shot per aumentare la pressione, ma sottile il foglio altrimenti non riuscite più a passare nulla.

This week I made a card using Paper Artsy's Grunge Paste Texture medium together with Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous' Stitches stencil. With these two elements, I decorated the big Sizzix's heart, Lovestruck Colorize, and I added the bunny, really adorable, from the Bunny Stitch die from the latest collection. I was probably influenced by Tim Holtz's YouTube Live on Saturday presenting his collection of fabrics and so I used all elements within the sewing/stitching theme.
To decorate the corners of the card I chose a stitching-themed set of Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stitches CMS365 stamped with Versamark and Ranger Vintage Pearl Embossing powder. Sentiment from another set, Noteworthy CMS 446.
If you look carefully at the photos of the details you will see that the bunny is made of felt. I have a little trick to cut felt with thin dies. First of all, I attach the piece of felt that I have to use on a Bazzill cardstock, and between the die and the felt I put a scrap of what in Italy is called Carta Forno (I don't know exactly what it's called in the United States, maybe Parchment Paper If anyone knows and writes it to me on Instagram, I will be really grateful!). In this way, the felt does not fray much and the cut is a little more precise. I also add a sheet of thin paper to the sandwich to be passed through the Big Shot to increase the pressure, but the sheet must be thin otherwise you won't be able to pass anything.
