SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE FEMININE

  

Ciao  tutti! Il nuovo tema su Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog è FEMININE. Potete interpretarlo nel modo che preferite!
 
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Up In The Air Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to take to make something: Feminine 


Le mie due tag di oggi hanno come protagoniste due Idea-Ology Paper Dolls che sono sempre perfette in queste occasioni! Devo fare un ringraziamento a Stacy Hutchinson per la palette di colori che ho utilizzato e che ho trovato sul suo Blog. Ovviamente utilizzata nel mio modo, ma l'idea di questo abbinamento favoloso è tutta sua!
Per gli sfondi Ranger Distress Sprays Fossilized Amber, Salvaged Patina e Seedless Preseerves. Non so resistere ad utilizzare le nuove fustelle di Sizzix per Timo Holtz! Anche oggi ne ho utilizzate tre: Boutique, World Travel e Watch Gears. La parte timbri/ stencil è come sempre di Stampers Anonymous: Mr.Rabbitt e Faded Type i timbri. mini stencil set 59 (Spots) per lo stencil! Spero vi piacciano!

The stars of my tags today are Idea-Ology Paper Dolls which are always perfect on these occasions! I have to thank Stacy Hutchinson for the color palette that I found on her blog. I used it in my own way, but the idea of this fabulous combination is all hers!
My choices for the background are Ranger Distress Sprays Fossilized Amber, Salvaged Patina and Seedless Preserves. I can't resist using the new Sizzix dies for Tim Holtz! Today I use three: Boutique, World Travel and Watch Gears. The stamp/stencil part is, as always, by Stampers Anonymous: Mr.Rabbitt and Faded Type are the stamps, mini stencil set 59 (Spots) for the stencil! I hope you enjoy them!

SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE IT'S UP IN THE AIR

 



Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Background Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to take to the skies: It’s Up In The Air 

Appena ho letto il tema di questa settimana di Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog ho subito pensato alla mongolfiera di un set piuttosto "anziano" di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, Remnant che io da collezionista quale sono ovviamente possiedo. E' stata una sequenza di idee: la mongolfiera mi ha fatto pensare al libro "Il giro del mondo in 80 giorni", poi al mappamondo della nuova collezione Vault 2  di Sizzix e poi per ultimo alla macchina da scrivere del set Curiosity Shop!Per i colori sono rimasta nella mia zona di comfort, la mia palette preferita! Nello sfondo ho utilizzato un paio di timbri con scrittura e il nuovo stencil Spots nella versione Mini. Per colorare la mongolfiera ho usato le Ranger Distress Watercolor Pencils, per la base dello sfondo Distress Ink Spray Stain e Distress Oxide Ink Pad per lo stencil. Il mappamondo e la macchina da scrivere sono stati realizzati usando il cartoncino Idea-ology Kraft Stock Black Paper. La texture del mappamondo è il risultato di un esperimento: ho tagliato i pezzi da sovrapporre e li ho ricoperti con Black Texture Paste stesa con le dite e poi ricoperta con Embossing Glaze Scorched Timber. Una volta scaldata ho usato la cera di Prima Marketing per creare qualche evidenziazione. La macchina da scrivere l'ho timbrata con Versamark sul cartoncino nero/marrone scuro e ho usato la polvere da embossing clear. Una volta sciolta la polvere per evidenziare il disegno ho scelto i Distress Crayons metallizzati. Il numero 80 è stato timbrato con i numeri del set Curiosity Shop che adoro. Confessione: ne ho comprato un altro set per tagliarli e poterli utilizzare anche da soli! Spero che la mia tag vi piaccia! 

As soon as I read this week's theme of the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog I immediately thought of the hot air balloon from a rather "older" set by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, Remnant which, as a collector, I own. It was a sequence of ideas: the hot air balloon made me think of the book "Around the World in 80 Days", then of the globe from the new Vault 2 collection by Sizzix, and then lastly of the typewriter from the Curiosity Shop set! I remained in my comfort zone with my favorite palette! In the background, I used a few handwriting stamps and the new Spots stencil in the Mini version. To color the hot air balloon I used Ranger Distress Watercolor Pencils, Distress Ink Spray Stain for the background base, and Distress Ink Pad for the stencil. The globe and typewriter were made using Idea-ology Kraft Stock Black Paper. The texture of the globe is the result of an experiment: I cut the pieces to overlap and covered them with Black Texture Paste spread with my fingers and then covered with Embossing Glaze Scorched Timber. Once heated I used Prima Marketing wax to highlight the design. I stamped the typewriter with Versamark on black/dark brown cardstock and used embossing clear powder. Once I had dissolved the powder to highlight the design I chose the metallic Distress Crayons. The number 80 has stamped with the Curiosity Shop stamp set. Confession: I bought another set to cut them up and use them individually! I hope you like my tag!
