I decided to use Tissue Paper and Collage plain for the background of my frame! I am in love with this Doll and I liked the idea of using it as a focal point together with this beautiful flower.
Here are the photos with the step by step and a short explanation!

I started as always with white gesso after drawing the shape of the frame with a pencil to get the precise idea of where it will be place.
Next step Texture Paste mixed with  Pumice Stone Distress paint and stencil by Tim Holtz on two corners.
On the other two corners, I used Decoart's Crackle paste.
For the inside of the frame I used Collage Plain stamping it with a Wendy Vecchi stamp that I like very much and with the help of the drawing I did before I could paste it exactly where I wanted it.

To color the flower and the leaves on the Tissue paper I used various Distress Crayons, Distress oxides. Distress Ink pads to paint I'll use  Heavystock I'll use with different Tim Holtz dies (like the list of materials at the bottom of the post!).

At this point I glued the flower and I moved on to the other embellishments!
In the pictures below you see the materials I used to complete the frame, the corners of the canvas and the metal locket!

Oh Barbara this looks absolutely fantastic!! The textures are out of this world, - I love how you coloured the texture paste with paint, and how the brighter colour tones contrast with the more neutral background. It gives such a fabulous effect! I also adore the way the flowers drape around the frame, surrounding that sweet little girl.
Thanks so much for playing in the challenge!

Your fairy girl is charming, perched on her tissue paper flower, but it's those trailing vines of wisteria around the top of the frame which have completely won my heart - beautiful! - and your gloriously realistic brick wall texture too. A magical piece.
