SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE ALCOHOL, DRINKS OR INKS


Ciao a tutti ! Oggi vado dritta al punto: l'argomento che Simon says stamp Mondy Challenge blog vi propone  per la prossima settimana è Alcohol! 
Vorremmo che includeste qualcosa di "alcolico" nelle vostre tue creazioni, per esempio pennarelli ad alcohol, oppure potete scegliere di usare immagini di bevande alcoliche, ad es. Vino, birra, ecc.
Anche per questa settimana è con noi Wendy aka Dabble (Kinda) Doday, dovete assolutamente vedere il suo Blog!

Thank you for joining us for the Recycle Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
Today we would like you to use something ‘alcohol’ on your creations, this includes alcohol ink markers, or you can choose to use images of alcoholic drinks eg, wine, beer etc.

Io ho scelto gli Alcohol inks per realizzare lo sfondo del mio pannello. Incredibilmente sono riuscita ad usare colori abbastanza tenui ed è un sercizio che mi piace molto, vorrei tanto alleggerire i toni dei miei lavori, quest'anno è uno dei miei obiettivi... cercare di usare toni più soft.... molto difficile che ci riesca ma mi piace provare!

I chose the Alcohol inks to make the background of my panel. Incredibly I managed to use soft colors and is an exercise that I really like, I would like to lighten the tones of my work, it is one of my goals of 2019... try to use softer and lighter tones .... very difficult that I succeed but I like to try!




Vi mostro come ho utilizzato gli Alcohol inks sia per lo sfondo che per le decorazioni.
Ho scelto come basa una Collage Frame e ho iniziato "sporcandola" un pochino con due Distress oxides: Antique linen e Pumice Stone. Poi Ho timbrato con lo sfondo di Tim Holtz French Collage e l'inchiostro di Simon Says Stamp Barely beige. ubito dopo ho aggiunto la povere clear ed embossato a caldo. Ho aggiunto qualche goccia di colore in tinta con gli Alcohol inks che ho usato e uno stencil usato con l'inchiostro chiarissimo di Simon Says Stamp.
All'interno ho utilizzato il Mixative Gold per colorare la decorazione nell'angolo tagliata con la fustella Mixed media#1.
Come ultima cosa ho usato Ink e Mixative per colorare i miei abbellimenti . Sulla farfalla ho utilizzato anche la cera di Prima Marketing Rose Gold.
E ora vi lascio i particolari

I show you how I used the Alcohol inks for both the background and the decorations.
I chose a Collage Frame as the basis and I started "dirtying" a little with two Distress oxides: Antique linen and Pumice Stone. Next step  I stamped with  Tim Holtz French Collage  Background and Barely beige Simon Says Stamp Ink . After I added clear embossing powder and I used heat tool. I added a few drops of color (to match the Alcohol inks I used in the background) and a stencil used with the very clear ink of Simon Says Stamp.
Inside my frame I used the Mixative Gold to color the decoration in the corner I cut with the Mixed Media # 1 die board.
Lastly I used Ink and Mixative to color my embellishments. On the butterfly I also used the Prima Gold Rose Marketing wax.

SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE RECYCLE SOMETHING



Ciao a tutti! Spero abbiate trascorso una splendida settimana e siate belli pronti a ripartire con noi di Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog! facilissimo argomento proposto oggi: RECYCLE SOMETHING! E siccome tutte le crafters del mondo non buttano via nulla (o quasi) non vi sarà difficile partecipare! Vi aspettiamo!

Thank you for joining us for the New Something Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we would like you to recycle something! Maybe use some ribbon or twine from a gift you received or decorate a carton or jar, there is so much ‘rubbish’ that we can alter into something beautiful and help to save the planet at the same time!

Come ho detto sopra io non butto via quasi niente... quindi sono andata a frugare nei miei ritagli di carta e nelle confezioni vuote che conservo. Tra le confezioni vuote ho trovato tutte quelle degli stencil di Tim Holtz che ho usato per tagliare gli ingranaggi.
Il progetto di oggi è un calendario perpetuo.
Qui sotto trovate tutti i passaggi. Alcuni non hanno bisogno di spiegazioni perchè sono chiari e ben documentati  percò pronti a guardarvi le foto e se avrete domande mandatemele pure anche sulla mia pagina Facebook e Instagram!!

As I said above I do not throw away almost anything ... so I went to rummage in my paper scraps and in the empty packs that I keep. Among the empty packs I found all those of Tim Holtz's stencils that I used to cut the gears.
Today's project is a perpetual calendar that you can use every year, steampunk style, one of my favorites!
Below are all the steps. Some do not need explanations because they are clear and well documented so... ready to look at the photos and if you have questions also send them on my Facebook and Instagram page !!







I passaggi precedenti sono facili e prevedono le tecniche più classiche, per quello che riguarda il modo in cui ho attaccatto le clips che tengono ferme le etichette con numeri e mesi... qualche spiegazione è doverosa.
Quando ho pensato al progetto ovviamente avevo bisogno di qualcosa che mi permettesse di cambiare ogni giorno i numeri.
Ho deciso di timbrare con il set Label frames di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous tutti i numeri e i mesi. Ho timbrato da entrambi i lati perchè soprattutto per i mesi sarebbe stato difficile fare stare al loro posto un pacchetto troppo grosso di piccole etichette. In questo modo lo spessore che viene tenuto bloccato dalle clips si dimezza.

The previous steps are easy and executed with  the most classic techniques, for what concerns the way in which I attached the clips that hold the labels in place with numbers and months ... some explanation is a must.
When I thought about the project I obviously needed something that would allow me to change the numbers every day.
I decided to stamp my labels from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Label frames set. Numbers and month are from Idea-ology Type Lower alphabet. I stamped on both sides because especially for the months it would have been difficult to keep blocked a too big package of small labels in place. In this way the thickness that is held blocked by the clips is halved.


Dopo aver preparato la base per numeri e mesi ho preso le clips ho fatto delle prove di posizionamento e segnato con una matita il punto in cui forare.
Con un attrezzo che possiedo ( del quale sinceramente non so il nome...) ho forato nei punti predeterminati e ho preparato le viti e i bulloni colorandoli con Alcohol Inks per renderli il più simili possobili alle clips.
A questo punto ho inserito dal retro la vite e avvtato il bullone nella parte superiore. ho bloccato anche con colla a caldo la vite nel retro per farla restare ancora più ferma. In questo modo la clips è bloccata ma si può aprire per cambiare numeri e mesi.

After having prepared the base for numbers and months I took the clips and I made some positioning tests and marked with a pencil the point in which to drill.
With a tool I own (which I sincerely do not know the name ...) I drilled at the predetermined points and I prepared the screws and bolts. I colored them with Alcohol Inks to make them the most similar to the clips.
At this point I inserted the screw from the back and the bolt in the upper part. I also stuck the screw in the back with hot glue to make it stay even more firm. In the photos above you can see the various steps closely. In this way the clips is blocked but it's possible to open it to change numbers and months.


Dettagli del progetto! Dopo aver realizzato questo calendario e lavorato ancora con i perfect pearls ho capito una cosa.... devo assolutamenti averli tutti!
