Come saprete , ho partecipato al
corso online di Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 103 e tra le tante cose che ho imparato e che non avevo ancora provato c'è la tecnica ombre. Ora io l'ho un pochino personalizzata , non è proprio una vera sfumatura, ma sapete che questi colori sono tra i miei preferiti! E sì, vi perseguito con il cavalluccio! da quando ho comprato questa fustella non riesco a smettere di usarla!
Piccolo tutorial per mostrarvi i materiali che ho usato e un piccolo vecchio trucco insegnato da Tim tantissimo tempo fa!
I love to have fun with color! I've created my own palette of Distress ink using
CUSTOM BLEND Distress DIY Ink Pad Ranger and
Distress reinker. I've learned the technique named Ombre following online classes
Creative Chemistry 103 by Tim Holtz.
The seahorse and the starfish are both sparkling with various
embossing powder!
Per personalizzare il tampone ho usato questi colori: Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted citron e Peacock feathers, tre tra i miei preferiti assoluti! Direi anche piuttosto vivaci ed estivi! La foto piccola in alto a destra vi mostra come riciclare i tappetini per il mouse distrutti!
QUI il post di Tim che spiega come fare! E' un trucchetto facile ma molto molto utile! Mi sono creata il timbro per lo sfondo e l'ho usato insieme al mio Custom blend personalizzato. Il cavalluccio l'ho tagliato con del cartoncino da chipboard, ho colorato la Grit-paste ( dovete averla assolutamente!) con unqualche goccia di Distress spray Hickory Smoke e l'ho cosparsa con questi Mica fragments Stampendous giganteschi!
I used these colors to customize the pad : Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted citron and Peacock feathers, three of my absolute favorite! Bright and summery! The picture in the upper right corner shows you how to recycle mousepads destroyed!
HERE the post by Tim explaining how to do! This is a trick easy but very very useful! I created the stamp for the background and I used it with my Custom blend. I cut the seahorse with Grungeboard, I colored the Grit-paste ( a must have!) with a few drops of spray Distress Hickory Smoke and I sprinkled over it these gigantic Stampendous Mica fragments !
Per la stella sempre Grit-paste, lasciata al naturale e coperta con la polvere Shabby White Stampendous. Ai lati ho usato lo stencil Bubbles in versione mini con la texture transparent gloss cosparso di Stickles dry fine Glitter, un glitter sottilissimo e luminosissimo! Se non avete la polvere potete usare Stickles Icicles Clear . Per ultimo il fiocco anch'esso preparato con il tampone personalizzato!
Grit-paste and powder Stampendous Shabby White powder for the starfish. On both sides I used the mini stenci Bubbles with texture transparent gloss, sprinkled with Stickles Dry Glitter, a glitter very fine and bright ! If you do not have the powder, you can use Stickles Icicles Clear. Finally the ribbon, prepared with the custom blend .
