SIMON SAYS STAMP MONDAY CHALLENGE: LOVE THIS TECHNIQUE!

Ciao a tutti! In questo nuovo Lunedì SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE vi propone di usare la vostra tecnica preferita , che sia timbri con embossing, stencile texture paste e si potrebbe andare avanti per molto molto tempo! Aspettiamo di vedere cosa inventerete!

Hi everyone! This is the theme for this week on SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE : LOVE THIS TECHNIQUE!
When it comes to stamping I have a lot of favorite techniques from stamping with mist to embossing and so much more! This week we want you to share a project that features one of your favorite techniques!

Adoro fare tag a adoro stencil, texture paste e crackle effect! Ho unito tutte queste tecniche per un lavoro che continua il tema marino! 

I love very much tag, stencil, texture  paste and  crackle effect! I combined all these techniques in this work   to  say hello to the summer and  to continue with  Sea theme, one of my fav!

I cavallucci  sono colorati con  Distress paints in tre toni tra il rosa e l'arancio, mentre il timbro Mesh è stampato con il gesso!
Ultima tecnica Crackle effect più stencil per le bolle!
Le foto sono quasi uguali ma vi permettono di vedere il lavoro da vicinissimo, spero non vi annoieranno!

Sea horses are colored with Distress paints in three shades of pink and orange, while Mesh stamp is printed  with gesso!
Last technique: stencil  and  Crackle effect  for bubbles!
The photos are  similar, but let you see the work from very close, I hope you don't get bored!

I rami sono tagliati su cardstock metallic, sapete che in questo momento non posso farne a meno!

The branches are cut on Core'dinations  Metallic cardstock, you know  at this time it's always in my projects!

Garza e spago mi sembravano le finiture più adatte per questo argomento!

Cheesecloth  and string seemed to me the best  finishes for this tag!

Ciao a tutti!  Prima di proporvi l'argomento della sfida settimanale , vi ricordo  che Simon Says Stamp ha dato il via all'evento annuale  STAMPTEMBER,   per celebrare la nostra passione per lo stamping! 

Hello everyone! Before talking about our weekly challenge, I remind you the start of STAMPTEMBER celebrations , a full month dedicated to the discovery of new products, inspirations and more!

Il tema di questa settimana per la sfida di SIMON SAYS STAMP MONDAY CHALLENGE BLOG è STAMP + PUNCH! Interessante vero? Cercate tra il vostro materiale punches e fustelle abbinate ai timbri e fateci vedere dove vi posrta la vostra fantasia, potete creare  qualsiasi cosa purchè segua questo suggerimento!

Whether you use a diecut with coordinating stamp, use a paper punch on a background stamp, or stamp a pre-made diecut shape or alphabet stickers , this week we want to see your projects that feature a punch or die cut with a stamp!

 

 

Per questa sfida ho voluto provare la nuova fustella di Tim abbinata ai Bird Crazy! 

Il mio preferito è sicuramente questo, bello paffuto e con uno sguardo così incredibile... sì , sono innamorata!
Ho scelto di creare una piccola serie di ATCs ispirata a Andy Warhol , molto anni 70 e un po' psichedeliche! Adoro la Pop Art di Warhol e mi sembrava divertente usare i Bird crazy per quest'occasione!

For this challenge I wanted to try the new Tim Holtz  Bird Crazy dies + stamps!
My favorite is definitely this, nice and chubby with an expression  so incredible ... yes, I'm in love with him!

I chose to create a little set of ATCs inspired by Andy Warhol, very 70's and a bit psychedelic! I love  Pop Art  and I  had fun  using the Bird crazy for this occasion!

 

 

Per gli sfondi ho usato il metodo più tradizionale: ho inchiostrato con i mini distress il tapettino poi ho spruzzato acqua e ho fatto scivolare sopra le ATC tagliate su Manila cardstock.

For the  backgrounds I used the usual method: distress ink pads on the craft sheet  and water, then  over I swiped  Manila ATCs. ( excuse me for my English, it's not good!)

 

 

Ho colorato i miei Bird crazy con Distress markers e Distress ink pads.

Per gli occhiali ho usato un pezzetto di acetato ( di solito riciclo le confezioni delle fustelle!), ho stampato con Archival Jet black e ho cosparso subito con la polvere Clear.

 



For the glasses I used a small piece of acetate, I have  printed them with Archival Ink Jet Black and I immediately sprinkled with the Clear embossing powder.

La cosa più diffcile è scaldare la polvere! Dovete rimanere abbastanza  lontani dall'acetato e avere pazienza! Se mentre lo lavorate si accartoccia, scaldatelo nuovamente e in velocità , mentre è ancora morbido,  appoggiatelo su un superficie piana.
Quando gli occhiali sono pronti, colorate le lenti con un Copic.

The hardest thing is to heat the  embossing powder! You have to stay away from your acetate and be patient. If it crumples, heat it again and roll it out quickly on a flat surface.
When the glasses are ready, colored your lenses with a Copic!

 

Per incollare le varie parte del vostro uccellino usate Ranger Adhesive foam per dare spessore al vostro progetto e per gli occhiali un filo di Glossy Accents.

 

After you cut the various part of your bird crazy,  you can use Ranger ADHESIVE FOAM WHITE, to add dimension to your craft projects. Glossy accents to glue your  glasses.

SIMON SAYS STAMP MONDAY CHALLENGE: TRIO OF COLORS

Ciao a tutti! Per questo lunedì di fine Agosto la proposta di Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge è TRIO OF COLOR! Per questa sfida dovete usare tre colori dello stesso tipo, siano Distress inks pad,  Distress Paints,  Gelatos o altri tipi di colore, l'importante è che siano 3 dello stesso genere!

Hi everyone! The challenge this week is to use three colors of ink, paint, or another color medium of the same kind. From distress ink to gelatos, acrylic paint to watercolor pencils - you can pick the medium and the trio! I have no doubt some great color combinations will be shared, and new inspiration found.

Ho preparato una tela misura 20 x 20  , eccovi un mini tutorial.

I prepared a canvas 8 x 8, here's a mini tutorial!

Primo step: gesso su tutta la tela.

First step: gesso on the entire canvas .

Secondo step: trio of color! Io ho scelto gli alcohol inks ( anche più di tre !).  Questi inks sul gesso fanno un effetto molto particolare come vedete e dovete lavorare velocemente perché asciugano in un attimo! La tecnica e versare qualche goccia di inks e un paio di gocce di Blending solution , poi muovere la tela  e far scorrere casualmente l'inchiostro.

Second step: trio of color! I chose the alcohol inks (even more than three!). These inks on gesso have a very unique effect , you must work quickly because they dry in a flash! When gesso has perfectly dried , pour a few drops of inks and a few drops of Blending solution, then move the canvas to scroll Inks randomly.

 

 

Risultato finale per lo sfondo. Ma ... non ero soddisfatta, volevo una cosa più soft e ho messo un altro strato molto sottile di gesso, che mi ha aiutato a raggiungere il tono che volevo!

 

Final result for the background. But ... I wasn't satisfied, I've  wanted something softest and I've added another layer of gesso, thin layer!

Quando la Crackled paste è asciutta, passate sulle crepe un filo di Distress Paint Wanlut stain con le dita, premendo abbastanza per far entrare il colore. Togliete immediatamente  l'eccesso con una salvietta.

 

When Crackled paste will be dry, cover the cracks with Walnut stain Distress paint . Immediately after, remove the excess with a wipe.

 

 

 

Per rimanere nel nostro tema Trio of color, tre Paints per le lettere di legno!

 

The word Sea  is from Tim's Letterpress. I added Trio of color: Worn lipstick, Abandoned coral and Dried marigold Distress Paints!

 

Al centro della mia tela ho timbrato una conchiglia dal set Nautical di Tim  su Distress Watercolor Cardstock   per colorarla ho usato un trio di Distress markers.

 At the center of my canvas, I placed a shell from Tim's set "Nautical".
I stamped it on Distress Watercolor Cardstock and I've colored with trio of Distress markers.

Un mix di polveri da embossing sugli angoli...

Sullo sfondo ho timbrato  con inchiostro bianco due timbri a tema mare del set Mini Blueprint  Mariner, un foglio di vellum stampato in bianco sotto la conchiglia, un tocco di garza e qualche abbellimento di metallo ed è fatto!

 



Some  white  stamps with Mini Blueprint Mariner Set, vellum printed white under the shell, a little bit of cheesecloth, some metal embellishments. Done!

Questa tag farà un viaggio molto lungo......
Ho seguito fedelmente la tecnica, ho cambiato decisamente l'argomento e l'atmosfera!
E' stata creata per una persona molto speciale per me che la riceverà ... non so quando.... le poste italiane..... non sempre sono velocissime!

Ho usato colori vivaci ricoperti  da uno strato  di Picket fence: Squeezed lemonade, Abandoned coral, Picked raspberry, Tumbled glass, Twisted citron.
Per il fiocco in alto  ho finalmente potuto usare Hickory smoke! Colore favoloso, non vedo l'ora di avere anche Ground espresso, diventerà uno dei miei favoriti!

I used vibrant colors covered with a layer of Picket Fence: Squeezed lemonade, Abandoned coral, raspberry Picked, Tumbled glass, Twisted citron.
For the bow on the top I could finally use Hickory smoke! Fabulous color, I can't  wait to have also  Ground Espresso,  surely it will become one of my favorites!
