Oggi ho scelto di decorare l'Accordion Folio di Idea-ology per farvi esplorare, come vuole il nostro tema, la parte oscura dell'autunno: Halloween. Come vi ho già detto, è da qualche anno che Halloween mi ispira molti progetti. Per questo ho scelto una palette di colori abbastanza grunge, marrone e viola. Ho usato tantissimi pack Idea-ology di qualsiasi tipo, Ephemera, Paper Dolls, Baseboards and Layers e tanti timbri e stencil di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous. Non riesco a spiegarlo tutto, vi metto solo gli step principali in sequenza. Per prima cosa ho colorato la base tutta insieme utilizzando Distress Spray Stain Antique Linen, Pumice Stone e Walnut Stain. Poi per ogni pagina ho realizzato il background timbrando e usando gli stencil. Terzo step ho scelto tutti i pezzi Idea-ology che volevo utilizzare per ogni pagina. Ultimo step il nastro che chiude l'album fatto con il mio amato Crinkle Ribbon, io continuo a sperare che tornerà in produzione. Da spiegare non cìè molto in questo progetto come tecnica, il resto ovviamente è tutta questione di gusto personale! Spero vi piaccia!
Today I chose to decorate the Idea-ology Accordion Folio to let you explore, as our theme dictates, the dark side of autumn: Halloween. As I've told you before, it's been a few years since Halloween has inspired me several projects. Because of this, I chose a quite grunge color palette, brown and purple. I used lots of Idea-ology packs of all kinds, Ephemera, Paper Dolls, Baseboards and Layers and lots of stamps and stencils from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous. I can't explain it all, I'll just put the main steps in sequence. First I colored the base all together using Distress Spray Stain Antique Linen, Pumice Stone, and Walnut Stain. Then for each page, I created the background by stamping and using stencils. Third step I chose all the Idea-ology pieces that I wanted to use for each page. The last step is the ribbon that closes the album made with my beloved Crinkle Ribbon, I continue to hope that it will return to production. There isn't much to explain in this project in terms of technique, the rest is obviously all a matter of personal taste! Hope you like it!
