Poiché è il primo lunedì del mese, presentiamo un marchio/azienda. Questa settimana utilizzeremo tutti alcuni favolosi prodotti Katzelkraft. Non è necessario utilizzarli per partecipare alla sfida, ma se li avete ci piacerebbe vederli utilizzati. Questa settimana diamo il benvenuto com Designer Spotlight a 2 favolose designer: Teresa York e Gitta Roolf . This week we are challenging you to: ADD SOME TEXTURE
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Katzelkraft. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Oggi mi sono lasciata alle spalle il Natale e sono rientrata nel mood Halloween, che è sempre molto adatto al tema Texture! Ho realizzato due tag con colori neutri, marroni verdi grigi che si sposano benissimo con l'atmosfera cupa delle tombe e dei teschi. Ho usato moltissime novità di Tim Holtz mischiate anche a qualche di cosa di più vecchio come mi piace fare quasi sempre.La prima tag ha come punto centrale il teschio del set The Obscure di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, mischiato al timbro con l'occhio del set Dearly Departed di qualche anno fa (uno dei miei set preferiti in assoluto!). Per lo sfondo lo stencil Fraxtured usato con la Grit Paste e qualche tocco dei nuovi Distress Crayons Seasonal, in particolare il colore Specimen. Sui contorni della tag un tocco di pasta Black Opaque mischiata alla Distress Grit Crypt. Sotto al teschio una finestra anch'essa molto texturizzata con le paste, presa dal pack Idea-ology Baseboard and Transparencies, così come il sentiment. Immancabile un pochino di Mummy Cloth che mi piace tantissimo, riempie senza appesantire il lavoro.
Per lo sfondo della seconda tag ho usato lo stencil Decayed insieme alla Black Paste e una volta asciutta ho colorato con i nuovi Crayons. Per il centro ho usato due fustelle di Sizzix per Tim Holtz, Graveyard della nuova collezione 2023 e Branches, una fustella non più in produzione (vi lascio comunque il codice 663138 se la volete cercare). Mi sono divertita a creare una specie di giardino macabro con fiori teschi e pipistrell. Anche qui il set The Obscure ha un ruolo importante, la ragnatela e il piccolo pipistrello a testa in giù ne fanno entrambi parte! Adoro quel set, forse lo avrete capito! Spero che vi piacciano!
Today I left Christmas behind and got back into the Halloween mood, which is always very fitting for the Texture theme! I made two tags with neutral colors, browns - greens - grays that fit well with the dark mood of the graves and skulls. I used a lot of Tim Holtz's new products mixed with a few of something older as I like to do often. The center point of the first tag is the skull from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous set The Obscure, mixed with a stamp (the eye) from the Dearly Departed set from a few years ago (one of my favorite sets ever!). For the background the Fractured stencil used with Grit Paste and a few touches of the new Seasonal Distress Crayons, especially the Specimen color. On the edges of the tag a touch of Black Opaque paste mixed with Distress Grit Crypt. Below the skull a window, also textured with pastes, taken from the Idea-ology Baseboard and Transparencies pack, as well as the sentiment. Unmissable a little bit of Mummy Cloth which I like very much.
For the background of the second tag I used the Decayed stencil along with the Black Paste and once dry I colored with the new Crayons. For the center I used two die cuts from Sizzix for Tim Holtz, Graveyard from the new 2023 collection and Branches, a die cut no longer in production (I'll still leave you the code 663138 if you want to look for it). I had fun creating a sort of ghoulish garden with flowers skulls and bats. The Obscure set plays an important role here too, the spider web and the little upside down bat are both part of it! I love that set, you may have guessed it! I hope you like them!
