SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE ARCHITECTURE/BUILDINGS


Ciao a tutti! Il tema di oggi su Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog è Architecture/Buildings! Sembra difficile, ma so che ognuno di voi ha sicuramente qualcosa di adatto! Potete spaziare tra timbri, fustelle, washi tape, e tanto altro! Sono sicura che avrete idee favolose!

Thank you for joining us for the Transport Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to add some: Architecture/Buildings

 










Oggi ho deciso di realizzare una card motivazionale per una persona speciale e ho scelto il set di timbri Creative Blocks di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous. L'ho usato stampando 9 di questi piccoli architettonici blocchi con Versamark e Vintage Pearl. Il passo successivo è stato realizzare lo sfondo con la nuova collezione di Halloween di mica Stain di Ranger per Tim Holtz. Come vedete la potete utilizzare anche in progetti di altro tipo, sono colori meravigliosi! Ho usato i miei tre prefertiti: Phantom Mist, Unravelled e Fallen Acorn, li adoro! Ho aggiunto un tocco di Salvaged Patina Distress Spray Stain ed il risultato lo potete vedere! Al centro ho usato le fustelle Stacked Tiles Hearts e Winged 3D di Sizzix per Tim Holtz. La frase motivazionale viene dal pack Theories Quote Chips ed è ricoperta con la polvere Embossing Glaze nel colore Antique Linen. Sotto al punto centrale con i cuori e le ali ho messo qualche filo di Idea-ology Mummy Cloth. Spero vi piaccia!

For this challenge I decided to make a motivational card for someone special and chose the Creative Blocks stamp set from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous. I used it by stamping nove of these small architectural blocks with Versamark and Vintage Pearl. The next step was to make the background with Ranger's new Halloween collection of Mica Stain for Tim Holtz. As you can see you can use it in other projects as well, they are wonderful colors! I used my three favorites, Phantom Mist, Unravelled and Fallen Acorn, I love them! I added a touch of Salvaged Patina Distress Spray Stain and you can see the result! In the center I used Sizzix's Stacked Tiles Hearts and Winged 3D dies for Tim Holtz. The motivational phrase is from the Idea-ology Theories Quote Chips and is covered with Embossing Glaze powder in the color Antique Linen. Underneath the center stitch with the hearts and wings I put a few threads of Idea-ology Mummy Cloth. I hope you like it!

SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE WE CAN SEE CLEARLY

 

Ciao a tutti e benvenuti ad un'altra settimana su Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
Questa settimana vi sfidiamo a realizzare qualcosa che contenga elementi trasparenti, il tema è We Can See Clearly!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Transport Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to make something that: We Can See Clearly

Questa settimana mi sono ispirata ai bellissimi trasparenti di Idea-ology e ho realizzato un trio di tag. Ho utilizzato stencil e timbri di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, Paper Dolls e Ranger Distress ink in varie declinazioni. Nella prima tag oltre ai trasparenti Idea-ology, per realizzare lo sfondo, ho usato anche la Distress Translucent Crackle insieme allo stencil Splotches. Nella terza ho usato la polvere Clear insieme allo stencil Typo creando l'effetto resist che consente di vedere quello che c'è sotto! Nella seconda tag, quella rosa/arancio al centro ho usato il timbro tondo grande dal set Brushstrokes insieme al gesso bianco e ho spruzzato sopra i colori. Sopra a questi sfondi come ho già detto ho scelto  alcuni trasparenti Idea-ology che si intonassero con i colori delle tag, le mie amate Paper Dolls e un sentiment Idea-ology dal pack Quote Chips Labels per completare. Potete notare anche qualche cucitura, come sempre imperfetta!

This week I was inspired by the beautiful Idea-ology Transparent Layers and Transparent Things 2 creating a trio of tags. I used stencils and stamps by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, Paper Dolls and Ranger Distress inks Ink Pads and Spray Stains). In the first tag in addition to the Idea-ology transparencies, I also used Distress Crackle Paste Translucent along with the Splotches stencil to make the background. In the third one, I used the Clear Embossing Powder along with the Typo stencil creating the resist effect that allows you to see what's underneath! In the second tag, the pink/orange one in the center I used the large round stamp from the Brushstrokes set along with the white gesso and sprayed the colors on top. Above these backgrounds as I mentioned I chose some Idea-ology transparencies that matched the colors of the tags, my beloved Paper Dolls and some Idea-ology sentiments from the Quote Chips Labels pack to complete. You may also notice some stitching, as always imperfect!
