Il mio progetto di oggi è una card realizzata con la vecchia tecnica mirror.
Mi piacciono tantissimo gli ultimi Blueprints che Tim insieme a Stampers Anonymous ci hanno regalato. Questo set dedicato alla birra, credo una delle bevande più famose e consumate al mondo, è spettacolare! Il bicchiere in particolare e la scritta sono favolosi. Volevo realizzare una card che mimasse un brindisi ma... mi servivano due bicchieri quindi ho provato ad utilizzare una tecnica sicuramente non nuova ma molto utile in alcuni casi.
My project today is a card made with mirror technique.
I really like the latest Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Blueprints, this set dedicated to beer, one of the most famous and consumed drinks in the world, is spectacular! The glass and the word are fabulous. I wanted to make a Cheers card but ... I needed two glasses so I tried to use a technique that is certainly not new but very useful in some cases.
Non so voi ma io mi sono creata per non sporcare troppo la Platform una base costituita da un foglio di quaderno a quadretti plastificato con vecchia Xyron blu! Ho posizionato il mio timbro e inchiostrato con Archival Jet Black poi ho messo il foglio che avevo già tagliato sulla timbrata bloccandola subito, senza farla scivolare, con le calamite. Passateci sopra le mani in modo che l'inchiostro sotto aderisca bene e girate! Ed ecco il vostro timbro al contrario! Nel mio caso non è precisissimo ma sapete che il mio motto è.... embrace imperfection e aggiungo che la timbrata su carta acquarello così porosa è sempre meno precisa che su carta diversa più liscia tipo Heavystock!
I'm a messy person and so not to get too dirty my Platform I made a base with a notebook sheet that I laminated with old blue Xyron! I placed my stamp and inked it with Archival Jet Black. Immediately I put the sheet that I had already cut on the stamped blocking it with the magnets. Press the sheet with hands so that the ink underneath adhere to your sheet. And here's your stamp reversed! In my case it is not perfect but you know that my motto is .... embrace imperfection. I add that the stamped on watercolor paper that is so porous is always less perfect than the stamped image on different paper smoother like Heavystock.
Conclusa l'operazione di stampa ho ripulito la mia base plastificata con il pulitore per timbri Stazon .

La card è semplice, come sapete in questo momento sono ossessionata dalla fustella 3D Lumber di Sizzix Tim Holtz che qui ho utilizzato insieme a un foglio di Substrate sheet e sporcato con Distress ink pad Vintage Photo. I timbri sono colorati con i Distress usati come acquarelli. Come abbellimenti ho aggiunto un paio di strisce di Design tape Vintage e un piccolo tappo di bottiglia che ho riempito con un ritaglio dalla collezione Lost & Found di Tim Holtz.
The card is simple, as you know right now I'm obsessed with Sizzix Tim Holtz's 3D Lumber die which I used here with Substrate sheet and Distress ink pad Vintage Photo. Stamps are colored with Distress inks used as watercolors. As embellishments I added a little bit of Idea-ology Design tape Vintage and a small bottle cap that I filled with a cutout from Tim Holtz's Lost & Found collection ..
