SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE INSPIRED BY A MOVIE

 

Ciao a tutti e benvenuti a un'altra settimana su Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
Prima di passare al tema della sfida di questa settimana, vorremmo ringraziare enormemente la nostra Sandra per oltre 10 anni di impegno in questa sfida, ma che ora sta cambiando direzione. Buona fortuna Sandra, ci mancherai e ti auguriamo ogni successo con la tua nuova avventura nella produzione di borse!

Thank you for joining us for the ‘S’ Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
Before we move on to the challenge we would like to say a huge thank you Sandra for over 10 years of commitment to this challenge, but who is now having a change in crafty direction. Good Luck Sandra, we will all miss you and we wish you every success with your new bag making venture!
This week we are challenging you to make something: INSPIRED BY A MOVIE
Please state which movie your creation is inspired by.


La cosa che volevo di più questa settimana era provare il nuovo colore della famiglia DistressUncharted Mariner. Quale film ispirato dal romanzo di Jules Verne , in cima alla lista dei miei preferiti in questo momento, 20.000 Leghe Sotto I Mari, poteva essere più adatto?
Eccovi la spiegazione del processo creativo in punti!
1 - Prendete una tag Heavystoch e usando i blending tool realizzate il background con i colori Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon e Uncharted Mariner.
2 - Timbrate con inchiostro Unicorn Hero Arts il timbro Bubbles di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous( s' sono un pochino ossessionata!) 
3 - Dal set di timbri Sea Life di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous prendete il timbro della piovra e usate il Ground Espresso Archival per timbrarlo. Poi coloratelo, io ho usato Carved Pumpkin, Crackling Campfire e Antique Linen. Per rifinire punteggiate i tentacoli con un pennellino e Foundry Wax Statue.
4 - Tagliate l'oblò dalla fustella Sizzix Steampunk Parts e usando la mini fustella 3D Foundrt create il motivo. Poi scatenate la fantaasia per la texture, io housato un sacco di cose: Grit paste Crypt mischiata a polvere da embossing, poi strati su strati con Hammered e Sea Mixed Media Powder di Ranger, Firebird Metallique Wax di Prima Marketing e Distress Crayons Walnut Stain.
5 - Il Nautilus era troppo perfetto. La fustella che ho utilizzato è Wacky Transport 1 di Tim Holtz Sizzix. 
6 - Per il titolo ho utilizzato tagliando lettera per lettera dal pack Idea ology Metallic Sticker Book. 
7 - Per il nastro dalle mie scorte:  un pezzetto di Crinkle Ribbon colorato con Walnut Stain Distress Spray e un Wide eyelet color oro rosso.

The thing I wanted most this week was to try out the new Distress Uncharted Mariner. Which film inspired could have been more suitable? Obviously, the movie inspired by Jules Verne's novel '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea'!
Here is the explanation of the creative process in points!
1 - Take a Heavystock tag and using the blending tools create the background with Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon, and Uncharted Mariner colors.
2 - Stamp the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Bubbles stamp with Unicorn Hero Arts ink (yes I'm a little bit obsessed with this stamp!)
3 - From Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous's Sea Life stamp set, take the octopus stamp and use the Ground Espresso Archival to stamp it. Then color it, I used Carved Pumpkin, Crackling Campfire, and Antique Linen. To finish, dot the tentacles with a small brush and Foundry Wax Statue.
4 - Cut the porthole from the Sizzix Steampunk Parts die and create the pattern using the 3D Foundry mini die. Unleash the fantasy to realize the texture!  I used a lot of things: Grit paste Crypt mixed with embossing powder, then layer upon layer with Ranger's Hammered and Sea Mixed Media Powder, Prima Marketing's Firebird Metallique Wax, and Distress Crayons Walnut Stain.
5 - The Nautilus was too perfect. The die I used is Tim Holtz Sizzix's Wacky Transport 1.
6 - To create the tile, I used various letters from Idea-ology Metallic stickers book.
7 - For the ribbon, I got a piece of Crinkle Ribbon from my stash and I painted it with Walnut Stain Distress Spray and a red gold wide eyelet.
Finished! I hope the explanation even without photos is helpful to you!
I hope this makes sense cause my English is not so good, so it's not easy for me to realize the tutorial in this language!

SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE SOMETHING BEGINNING WITH "S"

 

Ciao a tutti! Seppur distrutta dal caldo (io odio l'estate!) eccomi qui a proporvi un altro tema per Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Eccolo qua qualcosa che inizi con la S, penssate quanto è vasato e facile come argomento!

This week we are challenging you to make: SOMETHING BEGINNING WITH ‘S’


Pensando alla S mi sono subito venuti in mente i set di timbri dedicati ai gatti di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, io ho scelto il primo Snarky Cat CMS 392 e mi sembra che i mici si sposino benissimo con il nuovo timbro Bubbles CMS449 e le nuove frasi del set Noteworthy CMS446 . Non sono riuscita a fare il passo dopo passo con foto ma ve le spiego in punti, sono facilissime. Ne ho fatto una version Dark e una Light! Spero vi piacciano entrambe!

Thinking about the letter S I immediately came to mind Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamps dedicated to cats, I chose the first one, Snarky Cat CMS 392, and it seems to me that cats go very well with the new Bubbles CMS449 and the new phrases of the Noteworthy CMS446. I was unable to take the step by step with photos but I'll explain them to you in points, they are very easy. I made a Dark and a Light version of it! I hope you like them both!


Versione Dark
1) Usando la Platform inchiostrate con colori arcobaleno il timbro Bubbles e timbratelo su un taglio di Heavystock. Io ho usato i distress ink pad che si prestano bene anche all'essere lavorati con polvere da embossing che ho utilizzato in questo caso nella versione Thick (ricordate la vecchia Utee? praticamente quella!)
2) Dop aver scaldato la polvere e quindi isolati i colori potete a vostra scelta utilizzare o gli ink Pad o gli spray per realizzare il nero di base. Io ho utilizzato Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink pad. 
3) Ho preparato un piccolo ritagli in negativo utilizzando colore e Bubbles timbrato in nero per creare li semicerchio che ho incollato in alto come abbellimento/finitura della tag.
4) Ho utilizzato l'idea dell'arcobaleno anche per colorare il gatto, utilizzando sempre gli ink pad e timbrando sopra  con Archival nero.
5) Stesso procedimento per il sentiment.
Ecco i dettagli 

Dark version
1) Using the Platform, inked the Bubbles stamp with rainbow colors and stamp it on a Heavystock cut. I used the distress ink pads that are well suited to be used with the embossing powders that I used in this case in the Thick version (remember the old Utee? Basically that!)
2) After having heated the powder and then isolated the colors, you can, at your choice, use either the ink pads or sprays to create the basic black. I used Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink pad.
3) I prepared a small negative cutout using color and Bubbles stamped in black to create a semicircle which I glued at the top as an embellishment/finish of the tag.
4) I also used the idea of the rainbow to color the cat, always using the ink pads and stamping on the top with black Archival.
5) Same procedure for the sentiment.

Per quella Light il procedimento è praticamente identico solo che ho timbrato lo sfondo con polvere da embossing bianca e spruzzato al posto del nero i colori che ho scelto, un arcobaleno chiaro e meno tradizionale. ecco i dettagli anche di questa!
Piccola precisazione: la fustella Sizzix che vedete nella foto principale per tagliare i gatti purtroppo è fuori produzione quindi non la trovate nella lista dei materiali sotto al post. Vi metto comunque il codice che è 664803.

For the Light one, the procedure is practically the same except that I stamped the background with white embossing powder and sprayed the colors I chose instead of black, light, and less traditional rainbow. Here are the details of this too!
Clarification: the Sizzix die you see in the main photo to cut cats is unfortunately out of production so you can't find it in the list of materials below the post. Anyway, I'll put the code which is 664803.
