SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE WATERCOLOR



Ciao a tutti! Nuovo tema su Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog: Watercolor. Potete interpretarlo come sempre a vostro piacimento, aspettiamo i vostri progetti. 

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the Art Journal Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week we are challenging you to: Watercolor.

 
Io come sapete non sono brava a colorare nè con le matite, nè con i pennarelli nè purtroppo con gli acquerelli! I miei colori preferiti sono i Distress Ink e in questo caso li ho usati proprio come acquerelli con il solito metodo: strisciando il tampone sul tappetino e spruzzando con acqua. In questo modo si possono creare sfondi e anche colorare i timbri con il pennello.
Ho fatto tutte e due le cose! nella prima card ho preparato uno sfondo molto chiaro, ho timbrato con il timbro dal set Floral Trims di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous e poi ho acccentuato i colori dello sfondo all'interno dei fiori.
La seconda parte del progetto è una tag. Prima ho realizzato uno sfondo, un po' più vivace del primo, ho aggiunto uno stencil dal set Everyday Art ( insieme alla Texture Paaste crackle Opaque), ho timbrato e ritagliato poi ho usato sopra al timbro le polveri Embossing Glaze tono su tono.
Nella terza card la parte "acquerellata" è sempre lo sondo, per accentuare prorpio quest'ultimo e creare un contrasto, ho utilizzato per il timbro Versamark e povere da embossing bianca, poi ho ritagliato solo le parti dei fiori sovrapponendole sulla card.
Sono tutti e tre progetti semplici ma spero vi piacciano! 
 
I am not good at coloring either with pencils, markers or unfortunately with watercolors! My favorite colors are Distress Ink and in this case I used them just like watercolors with the usual method: swiping the pad on the mat and spraying with water. This way you can create backgrounds and also color the stamps with the brush.
I did both! In the first card I prepared a very light background, stamped with the stamp from the Floral Trims set by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous and then accented the background colors inside the flowers.
The second part of the project is a tag. First I made a background, a bit more vibrant than the first, I added a stencil from the Everyday Art set ( along with the Texture Paste crackle Opaque), stamped and cut out then used tone-on-tone Embossing Glaze powders on top of the stamp.
In the third card the "watercolor" part is again the background, to accentuate it and create contrast, I used Versamark and white embossing powders for the stamp, then I cut out just the flower parts overlapping them on the card.
All three are simple projects but I hope you enjoy them!
