Oggi il tema è ( almeno per me!) facilissimo e molto divertente: Grunge It Up, quindi è consentito il disordine, l'imperfezione ecc. Stile che mi si adatta completamente!

Tags, tags e ancora tags... quest'anno va così! sarà che ho veramente tanta nostalgia delle 12 tags di Tim, a partire dalle prime che pubblicava nel periodo natalizio per arrivare all'appuntamento del primo giorno di ogni mese per svariati anni! Non mi arrendo e io ne faccio ancora tante!
Oggi ne ho realizzate due con colori e timbri nello stile adatto alla nostra sfida!
Tags, tags and more tags ... this year goes like this! Maybe it's because I really miss Tim's 12 tags, starting from the first ones he published during the Christmas time to get to the appointment on the first day of each month for several years! I don't give up and I still do a lot of them!
Today I made two, with colors and stamps in the style suited to our challenge!
Nella prima ho utilizzato il Distress resist Spray e il mini stencil con i numeri del set 2 e poi ho colorato con i Distress stain sprays. Ho aggiunto il globo (fuori produzione ma il codice se vi interessa è 661598) tagliato su cartoncino nero e poi colorato con Distress Oxide ink pad. Dopo aver spruzzato qualche goccia e asciugato il Globo ho aggiunto Distress Embossing Glaze Rusty Hinge e Hickory Smoke.
In the first tag I used the Distress resist Spray and the mini stencil with the numbers from set 2 and then I colored with the Distress Stain sprays. I added the globe (discontinued but if you are interested the code is 661598) cut on black cardstock and then colored with Distress Oxide ink pads. After sprinkling a few drops of water and drying the Globe I added Distress Embossing Glaze Rusty Hinge and Hickory Smoke.
Nella seconda ho timbrato il baule da Inventor 9 di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous e l'ho colorato con i Distress Ink pads usati come acquarelli. Per la base della tag ho utilizzato una fustella da embossing di Tim Holtz che ha già diversi anni e credo non sia nemmeno molto facile da trovare ancora. Non so se capita anche a voi ma quando riordino i miei materiali mi capita di rivedere cose che non utilizzo da tempo e questa volta cercando una fustella adatta mi è saltata nelle mani questa, Sizzix Texture Fades Embossing Folders Subway & Stencil Set, con le scritte e ho pensato che utilizzato su una base scura era perfetta per l'effetto grunge che volevo ottenere.
Ho colorato il mio viaggiatore con tre Distress Embossing Glaze: Speckled Egg per il vestito, Antique linen per le parti chiare e Rusty Hinge per le scarpe.

In the second tag, I stamped the trunk from Inventor 9 by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous and painted it with the Distress Ink pads used as watercolors. For the background of this tag, I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder which is already several years old and I think it's not very easy to find yet. I don't know if it happens to you too but when I rearrange my materials I happen to see things that I haven't used for a long time. This time looking for a suitable die, this magically appeared into my hands this, Sizzix Texture Fades Embossing Folders Subway & Stencil Set, I thought that used on a dark base it was perfect for the grunge effect I wanted to achieve.
I colored my traveler with three Distress Embossing Glaze: Speckled Egg for the dress, Antique Linen for the light parts and Rusty Hinge for the shoes.

these are both awesome tags but the texture folder background is AWESOME! The coloring and texture when done over black cardstock is amazing!

Oh, I agree Barbara, I miss Tim's tags too! These tags are fabulous, the backgrounds are delightful and I really love the way you coloured the trunk, it looks amazing. Two real beauties. Hugs, Anne xx
