Questa settimana è stata impegnativa, c'è stata la presentazione dei timbri nuovi per Halloween di Tim Holtz e io ho avuto la fortuna di farne parte (grazie Tim e tutto lo staff!) ma anche molto produttiva... oggi la sfida di Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge ha come tema Beautiful Botanicals e cosa di meglio se non usare i nuovi timbri???
Con noi c'è ancora Anne Refern aka Redanne, una creativa davvero speciale, andate sul suo BLOG, ne vale la pena!

This week we are inviting you to arrange your Beautiful Botanicals
Another week together with Anne Redfern aka Redanne, HERE her fabulous blog.
Come sempre i timbri sono spettacolari e uniscono la creatività alla qualità! Usare un timbro di Stampers Anonymous fa sempre la differenza, i dettagli sono incredibili e il risultato è sempre splendido. Io per rimanere nel nostro tema, ho scelto il timbro floreale dal nuovo set Dearly Departed CMS 413 e il timbro con la piccola insegna, sempre dallo stesso set.
Mi sono divertita a realizzare una creatura ibrida, metà The Professor e metà Mr. Bones.

La Vignette Box è la più grande tra quelle contenute nella confezione da quattro. L'ho rivestita con la carta della collezione del 2019, Abandoned, e ho aggiunto qua e là tocchi di Crackle paste. All'interno come sfondo ho utilizzato una fustella da embossing di qualche anno fa (, Flourish 661822 fuori produzione), ho aggiunto una parte di ragnatela, tagliata con la fustella di quest'anno,e sono passata al ramo con i fiori!
Il ramo è bellissimo e ovviamente si può utilizare in mille modi non solo per Halloween!
La colorazione è fatta tutta con Distress ink, di vario genere, dagli Stains spray agli Oxide.
As always, the stamps are spectacular and combine creativity with quality! Using a Stampers Anonymous stamp always makes a difference, the details are incredible and the result is always beautiful. To stay in our theme, I chose the floral stamp from the new Dearly Departed CMS 413 set and the stamp with the small sign, always from the same set.
I had much fun making a hybrid creature, half The Professor and half Mr. Bones.

The Vignette Box is the largest of those contained in the pack of four. I coated it with paper from the 2019 collection, Abandoned, and added touches of Crackle paste here and there. Inside, as a background, I used an embossing die from a few years ago ( Flourish 661822 discontinued), I added a part of the spider web, cut with this year's die, and I moved on to the branch with the flowers!
The branch is beautiful and obviously, it can be used in a thousand ways not only for Halloween!
The coloring is done entirely with Distress ink, of various kinds, from Stains spray to Oxide.

I adore your hybrid creation Barbara and the way you have mixed the old with the new. The grunginess and the textures combine so well with the beautiful turquoise colour too. A beautiful little vignette, full of spooky charm. Hugs, Anne xx
