Thank you for joining us for the Bright and Cheerful Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are celebrating our 9th Birthday! Woot Woot!! So please create something with birthday celebrations in mind! HAPPY BIRTHDAY is our theme!

Io ho interpretato in modo molto colorato ed estivo il tema creando una tag di auguri con la fustella Triangle Element e il set di timbri Floral Bliss di Simon Says Stamp. Al centro non poteva mancare qualcosa di Tim Holtz... sapete che sono incapace di fare un progetto senza inserire qualcosa di Tim! In questo caso ho messo al centro la splendida Tattered Butterfly!
I have interpreted the theme in a very colorful and summery way, creating a greeting tag with the Triangle Element die and the Floral Bliss stamp set by Simon Says Stamp. At the center could not miss something of Tim Holtz ... you know that I am not able of doing a project without inserting something by Tim! In this case, I used the fabulous Tattered Butterfly as the focal point of my tag.
Vi chiederete che ne ho fatto della fustellata di Triangle element.... l'ho usata come stencil! Ho iniziato tagliando la mia forma di triangoli e preparando due tag. Ho appoggiato la fustellata sulla prima tag e ho steso la Texture paste. Ho preparato a fianco la seconda tag, ho tolto la fustellata completamente coperta di Texture paste e l'ho appoggiata con delicatezza sulla tag già pronta di lato. Il risultato lo potete vedere nelle prime due foto qui sopra. Ho ripetuto l'operazione per riempire tutta la tag e ho atteso che asciugasse. Mi scuso per le foto, ma non era facilissimo mostrarvi il processo con chiarezza dal momento che i colori sono bianco e avorio. Spero sia comunque comprensibile!
You may wonder what I did with Triangle element die-cut... I used it as a stencil! I started by cutting my triangles and preparing two tags. I placed the triangles on the first tag and spread the Texture paste. I put the second tag next to it, I removed the die-cut completely covered with Texture paste and gently placed it on the already prepared tag on the side. You can see the result in the first two photos above. I repeated the operation to fill the whole tag and waited for it to dry. I apologize for the photos, but it was not easy to show you the process clearly since the colors are white and ivory. I hope it's understandable anyway!
A questo punto mi sono scatenata con i colori... è estate, periodo perfetto per le tonalità vivaci! Per lo sfondo ho usato una delle palette che amo di più cha va dal giallo acido al blu passando attraverso il colore del lime e delle piume del pavone... la mia sfumatura preferita!
Dopo aver utilizzato i Distress Stain Spray sull'intera tag e asciugato subito con Heat tool, ho preso un pennellino bagnato d'acqua e sono passata sulle forme dei triangoli per togliere colore ed evidenziare il disegno.
At this point, I got wild with the colors ... it's summer, the perfect time for bold colors! For the background I used one of the palettes that I love the most, ranging from acid yellow to blue, passing through the green lime and peacock feathers ... my favorite shade!
After using the Distress Stain Sprays on the entire tag and dried immediately with Heat tool, I took a brush wet with water and I used it on the shapes of the triangles to remove color and highlight the design.
Per completare ho utilizzato il set di Simon says Stamp Floral Bliss con polvere da embossing bianca e ho colorato più intensamente all'interno del disegno.
To complete the tag I used Simon Says Stamp Floral Bliss set with white embossing powder and I colored more intensely inside the design.
Al centro per la farfalla ho usato un foglio di cardstock per gli Alcohol ink e vari colori nella gamma dall'arancio al fucsia.
Ho evidenziato i bordi della tag e quelli della farfalla con la penna gel bianca.

I used a sheet of cardstock for Alcohol ink and various colors in the range from orange to fuchsia to create the butterfly.
I highlighted the edges of the tag and those of the butterfly with the white gel pen.
