Welcome back to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Tie It Up Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to make something that is: Not A Card
Il tema di oggi è NOT A CARD, facile per tutti perchè potete realizzare quello che volete che non sia una card! Io, ovviamente, ho scelto due tags, semplici e veloci, create con tanti pezzi Idea-ology.
Ho iniziato scegliendo i pezzi che mi servivano per lo sfondo delle tag e li ho incollato usando il Collage medium Matte di Ranger Ink su un foglio grande di Heavystock. Poi con la fustella di Sizzix per Tim Holtz, Framelits Tag collectiom ne ho tagliate due.
Ho usato lo Stencil Flourish di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous con due diversi medium: Texture paste Black Opaque e Crackle Paste Opaque. Nel primo caso ho cosparso un pochino di polvere da embossing Gold e aspettato che si asciugasse per poi riscaldare e sciogliere la povere. Nel secondo caso ho usato due polveri Glaze, Salvaged Patina e Speckled Egg, seguendo lo stesso procedimento.
Ho scelto tra le tantissime della mia collezione due Paper Dolls e due sentiment dal pack Idea-Ology Quote Chip Labels e due cornici dal pack Label Frames.
Ho aggiunto due fiori presi dal pack Organic Layers (uno dei miei preferiti) due fiori e qualche foglia e le tag sono completate. Il nastro in alto proviene dalle mie score di passamaneria vintage.
Today's theme is NOT A CARD, easy for everyone because you can make whatever you want that isn't a card! I, obviously, chose two tags, quick and simple, created with many Tim Holtz Idea-ology pieces.
I started by choosing the pieces I needed for the background of the tags and glued them using Ranger Ink's Collage Medium Matte onto a large sheet of Heavystock. Then with the Sizzix die for Tim Holtz, Framelits Tag collection, I cut two.
I used the Flourish Stencil by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous with two different mediums: Texture Paste Black Opaque and Crackle Paste Opaque. In the first case I sprinkled a little bit of Gold embossing powder and waited for it to dry before heating and melting the powder. In the second case I used two Embossing Glaze powders, Salvaged Patina and Speckled Egg, following the same procedure.
From the many in my collection I chose two Paper Dolls two sentiments from the Idea-Ology Quote Chip Labels pack and two frames from the Label Frames pack.
I added two flowers and some leaves taken from the Organic Layers pack (one of my favourites) to complete the project. The bow on the top is made with a vintage trimmings from my personal collection.
