Ciao a tutti! Eccoci qui con un altro divertente tema su Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog: MAKE YOUR MARK. Questo argomento potete interpretarlo a mio avviso in due modi: o intendete qualcosa tipo " metti la tua firma", intesa come segno distintivo dei tuoi lavori, qualcosa che non manca mai, oppure usare qualcosa tipo doodles, segni che potete fare a mano linera o usando timbri. Io, per non sbagliare ho fatto tutte e due le cose!
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Rainbow Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to: MAKE YOUR MARK. In my opinion, you can interpret this argument in two ways: either you mean something like as a distinctive signature of your works, something that misses never, or you use something like doodles, signs that you can do by hand or using stamps. To make no mistake, I did both!
Ormai sapete che le tag sono la cosa che prefersico fare e siccome vedo che tutti i creativi hanno una loro comfort zone e anche qualcosa che li distingue dagli altri, ho pensato che tag e Walnut stain sui bordi fossero proprio i miei tratti distintivi più evidenti. Per cominciare ho preparato gli sfondi usando Distress Spray Stains, che vedete nella foto. Il secondo step è stato usare la nuova Idea-ology Collage Paper sugli angoli incollandola, la adoro perchè quando è incollata diventa trasparente e si vede comunque lo sfondo sotto. Il terzo step per il background è stato utilizzare due dei nuovi stencil di Tim Holtz insieme al Dabber e le polveri Embossing Glaze. Per la parte centrale ho utilizzato il nuovo set Floral Trims, l'ho colorato usando i Crayons come acquerelli e ho ritagliato come si fa per il decoupage le parti che volevo usare. Per finire ho aggiunto una frase dal pack Idea-Ology Quote Chips Label e aggiunto qualche tratto bianco con la penna Uni-Ball Signo Gel White. L'esecuzione è veramente facile e anche abbastanza veloce, potete provare!

By now you know that tags are my favorite projects to do and since I see that all creatives have their own comfort zone and also something that distinguishes them from the others, I thought that tags and Walnut stains on the edges were my most evident distinguishing features. To begin I prepared the backgrounds using Distress Spray Stains, which you see in the picture. The second step was to use the new Idea-ology Collage Paper on the corners and glue it, I love it because when it is glued it becomes transparent and you can still see the background underneath. The third step for the background was to use two of the new Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stencils ( Brush Mark and Brush Hex) together with the Ranger Ink Dabber and the Embossing Glaze powders. For the central part, I used the new Floral Trims set, I colored it using the Distress Crayons as watercolors and I cut out the parts I wanted to use for the decoupage. Finally I added a sentiment from the Idea-Ology Quote Chips Label pack and added some white strokes with the Uni-Ball Signo Gel White pen. The execution is really easy and also quite fast, you can try it!
