Ciao a tutti! Oggi è un giorno speciale per il blog di Simon Monday Challenge! In Agosto festeggiamo il nostro dodicesimo compleanno! Quindi il tema non poteva essere che HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Dato che è il primo lunedì del mese, presentiamo come sempre un marchio. Questa settimana stiamo tutti usando alcuni favolosi prodotti della favolosa Dina Wakley. Non dovete usarli per partecipare alla sfida, ma se li avete ci piacerebbe vederli usati.
Questa settimana diamo il benvenuto all'adorabile Estelle, alias atouscrap, come Designer Spotlight del mese di Agosto. Se non avete mai visitato il suo blog prima, allora sarà una vera sorpresa!

This week we would like you to join us in celebrating our 12th Birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY is our weekly theme!
Can you believe that this challenge has been going on for 12 years!! The time has flown by hasn’t it! We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our fellow crafters who have joined us over the years and we hope you will continue to join us!
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from the fabulous Dina Wakley. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
This week we are welcoming back the lovely Estelle aka atouscrap into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

As it’s our birthday the lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp have generously increased the prize this week to a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! Per realizzare la mia card ho scelto i coloi acrilici di Dina Wakley e uno spray Gloss.
Vi lascio come sempre (quasi) la derscrizione in punti degli step principali.
1) Ho tagliato il cartoncino Heavystock e colorato con i Distress Spray Stain Antique Linen e Pumice Stone.
2) Con l'aiuto della platform ho timbrato con il contour Ink di Hero Arts i fiori di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous per avere una traccia del disegno.
3) Lasciate in posizione i timbri sulla platform e colorate il vostro cartoncino con l'ombra del disegno.
4) Usando un Archival Ink, io il Black Soot, timbrate di nuovo i fiori.
5) Utilizzate lo stencil Focus insieme a Distress Ink Pad Speckled Egg su tutta la card evitando , ovviamente, i fiori già colorati.
1) I cut the Heavystock card and colored it with Distress Spray Stain Antique Linen and Pumice Stone.
2) With the help of the Platform I stamped the flowers of Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous with Hero Arts' Contour Ink to get a trace of the design.
3) Leave the stamps in place on the platform and color your card with the help of the shadow of the design.
4) Using Archival Ink, I chose Black Soot, to stamp the flowers again.
5) Use the Focus stencil with Distress Ink Pad Speckled Egg on the whole card, avoiding the painted flowers.
Io ho tagliato la parte centrale e l'ho sostituita con un pezzetto di acetato colorato con Alcohol Ink Mushroom.
7) Per le lettere ho usato la fustella Alphanumeric Theory, ritagliandole da un cartomcino Heavystock che ho colorato mischiando altri due colori di Dina Wakley, Sedona e Eggplant.
8) Ultimo tocco, uno spruzzo di Foundry Wax Statue, che fa parte del kit 2.
Finita! Sotto i dettagli.
6) The label at the center is made with the Vintage Labels die by Tim Holtz Sizzix, which has the particularity of being colored with a pad, preferably Archival.
I cut the central part and replaced it with a piece of vellum paper colored with Alcohol Ink Mushroom.
7) For the letters I used the Alphanumeric Theory die, cutting them from a Heavystock paper that I colored by mixing two other colors by Dina Wakley, Sedona, and Eggplant.
8) Last touch, some drops of Foundry Wax Statue, which is part of kit 2.
