I'm finally back to being with you on Monday for the usual weekly Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Last week I was blocked by an annoying and painful back pain which luckily got better so here I am! I hope for the next week to also be able to take the photos for the tutorials of the projects I make!
This week we are challenging you to make something for Thanks/Thanksgiving.
Come sempre io amo partire dallo sfondo e creare qualcosa ispirandomi al risultato dei miei esperimenti di colore! Stagione autunnale e colori super tradizionali ma vivaci, Distress Sparay Stain usati insieme all'ormai insostituibile Heavystock.
Le foglie sono state tagliate con la fustella Skeleton Leaves di Tim Holtz, Sizzix. Confesso: io ne ho tantissime di fustelle di foglie, ma le mie preferite in assoluto (escludendo i rami e le foglie natalizie!) sono queste e le foglie di quest'anno, Leaf Fragments. Ho utilizzato un cardstock metallico di Tim, Idea-ology Kraft Stock Black Paper e qualche ritaglio nelle tinte autunnali di sfondi che avaveo utilizzato in precedenza.
Le foglie tagliate con il cardstock nero le ho lucidate con Versamark e polvere clear aggiungendo qualche glitter rosso scuro.
As always, I love to start from the background and create something inspired by the result of my color experiments! Autumn season and super traditional but lively colors, Distress Spray Stain used together with the now irreplaceable Heavystock.
The leaves were cut with the Skeleton Leaves die by Tim Holtz, Sizzix. I confess: I have lots of leaf dies, but my absolute favorites (excluding Christmas branches and leaves!) Are these and this year's leaves, Leaf Fragments. I used a metallic cardstock from Tim, Idea-ology Kraft Stock Black Paper, and some cut-outs in the fall hues of backgrounds I had created previously.
I polished the leaves cut with black cardstock with Versamark and clear powder adding some dark red glitter.

Ho timbrato con Versamark e una polvere bianca per avere la traccia poi ho timbrat nuovamente con una polvere color crema alla quale ho aggiunto una polvere dorata. Ho ritagliato le lettere e utilizzato delbiadesivo con spessore. Qualche cucitura, nastro fatto con lo spago e una rosa di Tim colorata sui bordi con inchiostro Ranger Ink Thistle. Spero vi piaccia!!!!
The sentiment comes from the Bold Sayings CMS 433 set by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous. I stamped with Versamark and a white powder to get the trace then I stamped again with a cream powder to which I added a gold powder. I cut out the letters and used thick adhesive tape. A few stitches, ribbon made with twine and Tim's rose, painted on the edges with Ranger Ink Thistle ink. Hope you like it!!!!
