Thank you for joining us for the Play With Paint Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to add a feathered friend or maybe you could interpret the theme as an early morning sunrise, or maybe you can think of something else: Early Birds

Per la sfida settimanale ho realizzato due tag " a specchio", nel senso che sono praticamente identiche ma differenti nei colori e come protagonista ho scelto la fustella Feathered Friends di Tim Holtz, trasformandola in una versione tropicale. E sì oggi mi sono proprio divertita con i colori!
Due parole sulla realizzazione: Tutti e dico tutti gli elementi della tag sono colorati con Distress Ink Pads tradizionali su cartoncino Heavystock.
Aggiungo che prima di fare le due tags mi sono un pochino documentata sui colori e sulle forme dei volatili tropicali e ho visto che spesso hanno code particolari e piccole creste sulla testa. Per aggiungere questi due particolari ho utilizzato due fustelle della serie Funky Floral di Tim Holtz ( lista materiali in fondo!).
Per le foglie e i fiori ho usato una fustella che purtroppo non è più in produzione di Tim Holtz per cui non la troverete nei materiali in fondo, ma se vi interessa ha i codici 661207 e si chiama Tropical.
Ai lati e in basso nelle tags ho utilizzato due stencil insieme alla Texture paste Transparent Gloss ed evidenziata con Distress crayons Picket Fence una volta completamente asciugata.
Le frasi vengono dal set, che vi ribadisco dovete avere perchè è utilissimo e molto bello, Tiny Text di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous!

For the weekly challenge, I made two "mirror" tags, in the sense that they are practically identical but different in colors and as the protagonist I chose Tim Holtz's Feathered Friends die, transforming it into a tropical version. And yes today I really had fun the colors!
Some words about the realization: each element over these tags is painted with traditional Distress Ink Pads on Heavystock cardboard.
I should add that before making the two tags, I did a little investigation about the colors and shapes of tropical birds and I saw that they often have particular tails and small feathers on their heads. To add these two details I used two dies from Tim Holtz's Funky Floral series (list of materials at the bottom!).
For the leaves and the flowers I used a die by Tim Holtz which is unfortunately no longer in production, so you won't find it in the materials at the bottom, but if you are interested in it, its name is Tropical and its code is 661207. But it is not easy to find it.
On the sides and bottom of the tags I used two stencils together with the Texture Paste Transparent Gloss and highlight with Distress Crayons Picket Fence once completely dried.
The phrases come from the set, which I repeat you must have because it is very useful and very beautiful, Tiny Text by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous!

Me-ra-vi-glia! Le fustelle di fiori e foglie tropicali ce l'ho, e l'ho usata molto soprattutto ultimamente. Tu le hai usate in modo molto creativo e le trovo ancora più belle. Ottima anche l'idea di creare tag a specchio. La prendo in prestito e mi faccio venire qualche idea per coppie di tag.
