Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Love Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to add flowers Floral Frenzy.
As always at the beginning of each month the whole Design Team works with a brand, in this case Prima Marketing! HERE you can find the entire assortment of this brand on the Simon Says Stamp store.
And today ... drum roll... is with pride that I present our Designer Spotlight this month

Io non ho potuto resistere a uno stencil floreale di Tim Holtz, Bouquet, che sarà disponibile sullo store di Simon dal 7 Febbraio.
Ho iniziato coprendo di gesso una cornice di Idea-ology, Mini Framed Panel.
I couldn't resist the floral stencil by Tim Holtz, Bouquet, which will be available on Simon's store from February 7th.
I started by spreading my Idea-ology Mini Framed Panel with gesso white.
For the background I chose this beautiful stencil and I used it with Texture Paste Opaque matte. Once Texture Paste has dried, I painted the background with different Oxide Sprays (list of materials as always at the bottom of the post).
Il passaggio successivo è stato utilizzare la cera di Prima Marketing, Vintage silk sui fiori in modo davvero leggero per aggiungere luminosità (scusate se nella foto c'è la White gold ma io fotografo molto velocemente e alle volte un po' troppo precipitosamente mentre faccio le prove prima di decidere cosa è meglio!).
Sulla cornice dopo il gesso ho utilizzato l'acrilico Metallique Brass di Prima Marketing in abbinamento a due cere, la Vintage Silk e la Bronze Age. Come ultimo passaggio sulla cornice ho usato qualche macchia di polvere da embossing Hammered in modo molto casuale.
With Versamark in the form of a marker (if you haven't, you can use the refill with a brush) I highlighted the parts I wanted to cover with Ranger Ink's Hammered embossing powder. In this case, I covered the central part of the flowers. For the petals I did the same with another embossing powder, Ranger Ink Mint Chip Speckle. I mixed it with another powder from the Speckle series, Blueberry, on some petals.
The next step was to use Prima Marketing wax, Vintage silk on the flowers in a really light way to add brightness (sorry if in the photo there is the White gold but I photograph very quickly and sometimes a little too precipitously while doing the tests before deciding what's best!).
On the frame after white gesso, I used Prima Marketing's Metallique Brass acrylic in combination with two waxes, Vintage Silk and Bronze Age. As a last step on the frame I used some spots of Hammered embossing powder in a random way.
Per il piccolo mazzo di fiori Idea-ology Bouquet ho usato due sprays per i petali e la polvere Hammered per il centro!
Per la cornice di metallo ho usato Espresso Alcohol ink per l'esterno e il set di Tim Holtz Spring Shadow.

For the embellishments: Hammered powder and Crochet Thinlits Dies for creating the base for my Doll (colored with a hint of Distress Vintage Collage Medium , I'm waiting to receive the new embossing powders by Tim Holtz!).
For the small Idea-ology Bouquet I used two sprays for the petals and Hammered powder for the center!
For the metal frame I used Espresso Alcohol ink for the exterior and the Tim Holtz Spring Shadow set for the word Spring.

This is so beautiful Barbara! I love the stenciled background and the wonderful colors. And of course, the flowers she is holding in her hand.
