This week we are challenging you to create something with circles.

Questa settimana ho preparato una piccola collezione di tags ispirate agli stencil con cerchi di Tim Holtz. Il procedimento è davvero semplice!
La prima cosa che ho fatto è stata creare una base di colore abbastanza chiara: ho usato il tampone, Antique linen in versione oxide, sul tappetino e ho spruzzato con abbondante acqua, ho strisciato la tag e ho asciugato con Heat Tool. Ho scelto i due colori principali della tag e ho eseguito lo stesso procedimento di prima, l'unica differenza è che ho usato pochissima acqua in modo da creare delle piccole macchie di colore. La base è fatta per tutte e 4 le tags.
Ho scelto gli stencil e i timbri e poi..... come dice Seth Apter "creating without overthinking", vi assicuro che sta diventando il mio motto creativo preferito insieme a "embrace imperfection"!
Lasciarsi guidare dall'intuizione senza pensare troppo a quello che stai facendo ti rende più tranquillo e sicuro, smetti di preoccuparti del risultato e ti diverti tantissimo!
Spero che si veda quanto mi sono divertita con colori e stencils!
Non c'è davvero altro da dire, solo che la tecnica che ho usato è quella di creare diversi strati con diversi stencils e diversi colori.

Particolari delle tags , una per una!
This week I prepared a small collection of tags inspired by stencils with circles by Tim Holtz. The creative process is really simple!
The first thing I did was create a fairly clear color base: I used the pad, Antique linen Oxide version, on the mat and sprayed with plenty of water, I swiped the tag and dried with Heat Tool.
I chose the two main colors of the tag and I performed the same procedure as before, the only difference is that I used very little water to create small spots of color. The base is created for all 4 tags.
I chose stencils and stamps and then ..... as Seth Apter says "creating without overthinking", I assure you that it is becoming my favorite creative motto together with "embrace imperfection"!
Being guided by intuition without thinking too much about what you are doing makes you feel calmer and safer, stop worrying about the result and have a great time!
I hope you see how much I enjoyed myself with colors and stencils!
There is really nothing else to say, only that the technique I used is to create a lot of layers with different stencils and different colors.
The focal point for each tag is a stamp by Tim Holtz that I love very much!

I love those stamps, too (someday I'll splurge for the second set). They can be quite versatile as you have shown perfectly in these examples. The tags are super fun and you made a great choice of sentiments for each image.
Barbara these are over the top FANTASTIC. I love the color and the texture (I cannot stop looking at them).Using silhouettes of the stamped images is awesome!

I can tell you had a lot of fun making these tags, Barbara! Lovely colors, textures and images! When I was scrolling through this morning, I thought to myself, wow, Cheiron's tags look just like Barbara's! ha ha, they were yours! hugs, Maura
I always get such great ideas when I look at your clever projects! Love the color on these and especially like how you made the stitching accents and didn't go all the way around the borders with your sewing. It looks really neat the way you only sewed certain areas on the edges.

This is a great set of tags! Love that they are all made with the same style and have a common theme. The colors you mixed are fab and the background patterns are lovely.
