Thank you for joining us for the Bright and Beautiful Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are making something different with the theme:Anything But A Card!

Ho preso ispirazione dall'estate e dai colori e siccome quest'anno non andrò in vacanza al mare, ho deciso di portare il mare a casa!
I took my inspiration from the summer and the colors, as this year my summer holiday not will be by the seaside , I decided to take the sea at my home!
Va bene lo ammetto! In questo momento sono ossessionata dalle fustelle 3D di Sizzix Tim Holtz. Me ne manca ancora una, ma presto rimedierò! Oggi ho usato Foundry, la adoro! Ho cominciato usando questa fustella sul Foil Ranger. Ho fatto aderire il foil, che è adesivo ed è veramente comodo, alle pareti esterni della casetta di legno Idea-ology, A questo punto l'ho ricoperta di gesso e strofinata ( una volta asciutta) con una paglietta da cucina, ma molto leggermente. Un'altra ossessione: i nuovi inchiostri Ranger by Wendy Vecchi! Ho usato il mio colore preferito,
Garden Patina, per dare una lieve colorazione alla casa. Ho rifinito con la cera di Prima Marketing, White Gold.
Ok, I admit it! I am obsessed with Sizzix Tim Holtz's 3D dies. I still miss one of them, but soon I'll complete my collection! Today I used Foundry, I love it! I started using this die on the foil by Ranger. I adhered the foil, which is adhesive and is absolutely easy to use, to the outer walls of the Idea-ology wooden house, At this point I covered it with gesso and rubbed (once dry) with a kitchen scourer, but very lightly . Another obsession: new Ranger inks Make Art by Wendy Vecchi ! I used my favorite color,
Garden Patina, to give a light color to the house. I finished with Prima Marketing wax, White Gold.
La mia vita è piena di ossessioni: le fustelle Tim Holtz Sizzix Floral! Qui ne ho usate due insieme a due fustelle più "anziane"!
Prima ho preparato con un foglio di Heavystock ( insieme ai Distress Oxides) la base su cui ritagliare la mia flora marina.
My crafty life is full of obsessions: Tim Holtz Sizzix Floral dies are between these! Here I used two Florals dies together with two "older" dies! First I useda sheet of Heavystock together Distress oxides to prepare the base from wich I'll cut marine flora.
Vabbè vado avanti! Vogliamo parlare delle nuove stupende conchiglie? Ecco un'altra ossessione!
In questo caso ho ritagliato le mie conchiglie un foglio bianco di Substrate sheet e poi ho colorato con i Distress Paint. Discorso a parte per i cavallucci! Nel mio progetto mentale volevo inserire dei cavallucci marini ma quelli di Tim Holtz sizzix erano troppo grandi sia nella versione Bigz che in quella Movers & shapers. Quindi.... ho scovato in mezzo alle mie scorte un foglio di
Shrink plastic ed ecco sopra il risultato! Perfetto e anche divertente era tantissimo che non usavo questo materiale! Una volta rimpicciolito il cavalluccio l'ho colorato usando i Distress paint con le dita!
Go ahead! We want to talk about the new amazing shells by Tim Holtz Sizzix? Here is another obsession!
I cut out my shells from a white sheet of Substrate and then I used Distress Paint to give them color. Speech aside for the seahorses! In my mental project I wanted to insert seahorses but those of Tim Holtz Sizzix are too big in both sizes, Bigz and Movers & shapers. So .... I found a sheet of
Shrink plastic in my own stash and here is the result! Perfect and also fun! Once I got smaller my seahorses, I colored them using Distress paint with my fingers!
Qui piccolo trucco per preparare le foglie che spuntano da dietro le conchiglie. Siccome non sono abbastanza alte , ho preparato un piccolo rialzo con due tappi di sughero piccoli e ho incollato con la colla a caldo!
Here is a little trick to prepare the leaves that sprout from behind the sea shells. Because they are not high enough, I have prepared a small upward with two corks small and I glued with hot glue!

Per il pesciolino ho usato lo stesso metodo del cavalluccio. Ho timbrato il pesce dal set Sea Life di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous sulla Shrink Plastic (ammetto che è uno dei miei preferiti e spero presto verranno altri timbri marini !) e poi ho scaldato e dopo colorato con Alcohol ink Stream sul retro.
For the small fish I used the same method of the sea horses. I stamped the fish from Tim Holtz Stampers' Sea Life set on the Shrink Plastic with Archival jet black (I admit Sea Life is one of my favorite sets and I hope that sea stamps will come soon!) And then I warmed the fish and colored it with Stream Alcohol ink on the back.
