Thank you for joining us for the Trees Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to: Make It Sparkle
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Paper Artsy. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
This week we’re welcoming back the lovely Anita Rao into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Oggi ho realizzatodue tags invernali /natalizie con uno sfondo scuro ma scintillante come erichiesto dal nostro tema. Ecco in breve i principali step.
1) Per i due sfondi ho iniziato con due tag Heavystock e ho usato Ranger Distress Ink nei colori Black Soot e Scorched Timber, con la tecnica del tappetino( passate il tampone sul tappetino, spruzzate acqua e poi le tags asciugando con Heat Tool ogni volta finchè il risultato vi soddisfa). A questo punto ho spruzzato sul tappetino Distress Mica Stain nel colore Unravelled.
2) Ho completato gli sfondi utilizzando lo stencil Sparkle Fade di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous insieme alla Texture Paste Translucent e la polvere da embossing Liquid Platinum, un timbro di Paper Artsy Minis 122, usato con la stessa polvere.
3) Per i punti centrali ho scelto i due omini di neve del set Di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Mr. Frostie. Li ho timbrati con Versamark e aggiunto Black Fine Embossing Powder. Li ho colorati Con Distress Mica Stain (per la lista dei prodotti controllate il mio blog Yayascrap & More) e aggiunto nelle parti bianche la polvere Rock Candy, la amo alla follia perchè sembra veramente neve scintillante!
4) Per realizzare i fiori ho usato diverse carte glitterate e due sfustelle Sizzix dell'ultima collezione: Holiday Classic e Seasonal Sketch.
5)I sentiment vengono da un pack Idea-ology fuori produzione Quote Chips Christmas Noel che io da appasionata collezionista ho ancora nelle mie scorte!

Today I made two winter/Christmas tags with a dark but sparkly background as requested by our theme. Here are the main steps For the two backgrounds I started with Heavystock tags and I used Ranger Distress Ink Black Soot and Scorched Timber, with the mat technique (pass the pad on the mat, spray water and then the tags drying with Heat Tool each time until the result is as you want). At this point I sprayed on the mat Distress Mica Stain in the color Unravelled.
2) I completed the backgrounds using the Sparkle Fade stencil by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous together with the Texture Paste Translucent and the Liquid Platinum embossing powder, a stamp by Paper Artsy, Minis 122, used with the same powder.
3) I chose the two super cute snowmen from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Mr. Frostie set for the central points. I stamped them with Versamark and added Black Fine Embossing Powder. I colored them with Distress Mica Stain (for the list of products check my blog Yayascrap & More) and added Rock Candy powder to the white parts, I love it so much because it looks like sparkling snow!
4) To make the flowers I used different glitter papers and two Sizzix dies from the latest collection: Holiday Classic and Seasonal Sketch.
5) The sentiments come from a discontinued Idea-ology Quote Chips Christmas Noel pack that I, as an avid collector, still have in my stock!
