This week we are challenging you to think of others: Thinking Of You
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from the fabulous Tim Holtz. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
This week we’re welcoming back the lovely Teresa York into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Oggi ho preparato una card usando una tecnicache uso poco ma che dà bellissimi risultati! Ho iniziato colorando con Ranger Distress Ink PadUn ritaglio di Heavystock. poi Ho spruzzato Distress Spritz tono su tono, quindi arancio sull'arancio e viola sul viola. A questo punto ho passato il mio cartoncino colorato nella Sizzix con la fustella Acorns 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder di Tim Holtz con la parte colorata in modo che risulti debossing e non embossing. Ora avete il vostro disegno colorato nella parte non in rilievo e potete passare su tutto il cartoncino con l'inchiostro Tsukineko VersaFine Clair Fallen Leaves in modo da lasciare in evidenza solo le parti colorate. Potreste doveer ripetere questa operaazione un paio di volte per ottenere un risultato di colore omogeneo. A questo punto ho preparato il nastro ( veramente vintage dalle mie scorte ) colorandolo con i Distress Spritz. Il sentiment proviene dal pack Idea-Ology Muse Tokens Coin Metal e ho evidenziato le parti in rilievo con Prima Marketing Firebird Finnabair Art Alchemy Metallique Wax. Today I made a card using a technique that I don't use much but that gives amazing effects! I started by coloring with Ranger Distress Ink Pad, a Heavystock cutout. Then I sprayed Distress Spritz tone on tone, so orange on orange and purple on purple. At this point I passed my colored cardstock through the Sizzix with the Acorns 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder die by Tim Holtz by debossing the colored part. Now you have your design colored in the non-embossed part and you can go over the entire cardstock with Tsukineko VersaFine Clair Fallen Leaves ink to leave only the colored parts in evidence. You may have to repeat this operation several times for a uniform color result. At this point I prepared the ribbon (a truly vintage one from my supplies) by coloring it with Distress Spritz. The sentiment is from the Idea-Ology Muse Tokens Coin Metal pack and I highlighted the raised parts with Prima Marketing Firebird Finnabair Art Alchemy Metallique Wax.
