This week we are challenging you to make something:
Whatever The Weather
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using our very own Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Products. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
This week we’re welcoming back the lovely Estelle aka atouscrap into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!
Ciao a tutti! Spero abbiate passato una Buona Pasqua! Eccoci con una nuova sfida e un nuovo mese. Oggi il tema è Watever The Weather, quindi potete fare quello che volete , è sufficiente per partecipare che ci sia un riferimento al tempo atmosferico. Io mi sono fatta ispirare dal detto" April Showers may bring Flowers" e ho realizzato una tag abbastanza colorata. Ho iniziato colorando una tag 8 con vari inchiostri, Distress Oxide a lcuni esclusivi di Simon della collezione Pawsitively Saturated Ink. Come secondo passo ho usato l'embossing Folder 3d di Tim Holtz Sizzix Roses , poi ho usato l'inchiostro Versamark sopra i rilievi e ho cosparso di polvere Clear. Una volta scaldata la povere i fiori diventano tutti lucidissimi! Ho aggiunto un timbro testo dal set Gothic Tapestry di Stampers Anonymous e una Paper Dolls. Per creare il testo ho ritagliato le lettere da vari vecchissimi Idea ology pack con tante parole. Spero vi piaccia!
Hi everyone! I hope you had a Happy Easter! Here we are with a new challenge from Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog and a new month. Today the theme is Waterever The Weather, so you can make whatever you want but you have to use a reference to the weather. I was inspired by the saying "April showers may bring flowers" and I created a fairly colorful tag. I started by coloring a #8 tag with various inks, Distress Oxide and some Simon exclusives from the Pawsitively Saturated Ink collection. As a second step I used Tim Holtz Sizzix Roses Embossing Folder 3d, then I used Versamark ink over the reliefs and sprinkled with Clear powder. Once the powder is heated the flowers become very shiny! I added a text stamp from the Gothic Tapestry stamp set from Stampers Anonymous and a Paper Dolls. To create the text I cut out the letters from several very old Idea ology packs with various words. Hope you like it!
