This week we are challenging you to:
FRAME IT
Piccola confessione: da quando ho visto il timbro di questo coniglietto ho pensato che dovevo averlo, è assolutamente carino, la sua espressione mi piace davvero tanto e mi fa pensare alla Pasqua e alla primavera. Il conoglio fa parte di un set di timbri clear più stencil di Stampers Anonymous per Tim Holtz. Proprio pensando alla primavera ho realizzato la mia card. Colori non troppo scuri, sfumature pastello non proprio usuali per me e finalmente ho potuto utilizzare il nuovo grigio chiaro, Lost Shadow, della linea Distress.
Per la cornice ho utilizzzato una vecchia fustella di Sizzix per Tim Holtz , Funky Wreath, e per i fiori la nuova fustella Brushstroke Flowers Mini.
Per lo sfondo ho usato lo stencil del set che vi ho detto sopra, che comprende due disegni. per i piccoli cerchi ho usato Distress ink Pad Walnut Stain e per l'altro stencil geometrico, la polvere Embossing Glaze nel colore Lost Shadow,. Questo colore è bellissimo, molto versatile, se usato da solo con Versamark è quasi trasparente, ma quello che fa la differenza è proprio il quasi, in realtà dona una texture che si sovrappone in modo non invasivo ma che si vede (le mie foto sono bruttissime oggi, scusate ma la luce non era delle migliori ... e nemmno la fotografa!). Io oggi l'ho utilizzato sopra alla Texture Paste Translucent e il risultato è simile a quello che avrete utilizzandolo con Dabber o con Versamark. Qualche cucitura e un bel vaso e la card è finita! Nella lista materiali non troverete il nastro di lino che ho utilizzato, è di Idea-ology si chiama Linen Ribbon ma è fuori produzione.
I confess: ever since I saw this bunny's stamp I thought I had to have one, he's absolutely cute, I really like his expression and it makes me think of Easter and spring. This cute bunny is part of a set of clear stamps plus stencils by Stampers Anonymous for Tim Holtz. Just thinking about spring I made my card. Colors that are not too dark, pastel shades not really usual for me and finally I was able to use the new light grey, Lost Shadow, from the Distress line.
For the frame, I used an old Sizzix die for Tim Holtz, Funky Wreath, and for the flowers the new Brushstroke Flowers Mini.
For the background, I used the stencil from the set I mentioned above, which includes two designs. For the small circles, I used Distress ink Pad Walnut Stain and for the other geometric stencil, the Embossing Glaze powder in the color Lost Shadow. This color is beautiful, and very versatile, if you used it with Versamark it is almost transparent, but what makes the difference is precisely the almost, in reality it gives a texture that is superimposed in a non-invasive way but which is visible (my photos are very bad today, sorry but the light wasn't the best ... and neither is the photographer!) Today I used it together with Texture Paste Translucent and the result is similar to the one you will get using it with Dabber or VersamarkA few stitches and a nice pot and the card is finished!
