Hello everyone! Here I am again! I am very sorry that I was unable to publish anything last Monday for the weekly Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog challenge (which you can find HERE and participate with the Home Decor theme!). Sometimes personal unexpected events happen that cannot be controlled! Today though I'm back here and I'm very proud to present you the first card I made for the Stampers Anonymous booth at Creativation 2020.
Creare per Creativation insieme a un gruppo di artisti favolosi da un lato mi rende orgogliosa dall'altro incredula! Sono davvero felice di essere stata chiamata a interpretare i nuovi splendidi set di timbri prodotti da Stampers Anonymous per Tim Holtz! Take part in Creativation 2020 together with a group of fabulous artists, on the one hand, makes me proud but also incredulous! Per la card ho utilizzato i fiori per creare il background con colori tenui e vintage, timbrando con i Distress oxide che sono adattissimi perchè molto coprenti e opachi.
Al centro il coniglio, che amo far sembrare di cioccolata, e dietro le uova negli stessi colori dei fiori.
For the card I used the flowers to create the background with soft and vintage colors, stamping with the Distress oxides that are very suitable because they are very opaque.
In the center the rabbit, which I love to make looks like chocolate, and behind the eggs in the same colors as the flowers.
Per prima cosa ho preparato la base della card colorando il fondo con Distress oxide Pumice Stone. Poi ho preparato una maschera con la fustella Stitched Oval e ho conservato tutti i pezzi tagliati.
Utilizzando questi pezzi in vari step successivi sono riuscita a creare il background all'interno dell'ovale e il background all'esterno dell'ovale come potete vedere dalle foto.
First I prepared the base of the card by coloring the background with Pumice stone Distress Oxide. Then I prepared a mask with the Stitched Oval die and kept all the cut pieces.
Using these pieces step by step I managed to create the background inside the oval and the background outside the oval as you can see from the photos
Per tutte le timbrate che ho fatto per realizzare la card ho usato solo Distress Oxide ink Pad. Ho scelto i colori più chiardi quelli a disposizione nella gamma per creare un lavoro con toni pastello che si adattassero alla stagione primaverile!
Mi è piaciuto molto l'effetto che ho ottenuto con il Distress Dry Glitter (che io considero una grande risorsa in tutte le stagioni e non solo a Natale) sul coniglietto: sembra cosparso di zucchero!
Un piccolo trucco che mi piace usare spesso quando i timbri sono pieni: dopo aver scelto la tonalità principale ne scelgo una più scura della stessa gamma di colore e picchietto con il tampone solo sui contorni. L'effetto è quello che vedete : un'immagine solida e con i contorni precisi.
Come sentiment ho scelto il più classico Happy Easter che ho timbrato su un nastro di lino aiutandomi come sempre con la Platform.
For all stamped images to create this card I only used Distress Oxide Ink Pads. I chose the lightest colors available in the range to create a job with pastel tones that would adapt to the spring season! I really liked the effect I got with the Distress Dry Glitter (which I consider a great resource in all seasons and not only at Christmas) on the bunny: it seems sprinkled with sugar!
A little trick that I like to use often when I use solid stamps: after choosing the main shade I choose a darker one of the same color range dabbing with the ink only on the contours. The effect is what you see and I love it so much!
As sentiment, I chose the classic Happy Easter which I stamped on a linen ribbon helping me as always with the Platform.
