This week we are challenging you to Add Something Metallic
As it is the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a particular brand and this time we are all using some fabulous Brutus Monroe Products

La mia ispirazione oggi viene dall'ecologia. La frase "There is no Planet B" è stata la partenza, quello che ha fatto scattare l'idea! Sono partita da un foglio di Yupo paper e ho lavorato con alchol inks di diversi colori nelle sfumaure verde e blu. La fustella Destination di Tim Holtz è bellissima e adatta a questo progetto.
My inspiration today comes from ecology. The phrase "There is no Planet B" was the start, the one that gave me the idea! I started with a sheet of Yupo paper and worked with green and blue alcohol inks . Tim Holtz's Destination die is fabulous and so suitable for this project.
Come colore di base della tela ho utilizzato Antique linen e Pumice stone in versione ink pad spruzzando qua e la qualche goccia d'acqua e asciugando subito con Heat tool. Ho aggiunto lo stencil Splash di Tim Holtz e una volta asciugato ho cominciato a colorarlo. Prima ho spruzzato Distress ink spray Peacock feather e Cracked Pistachio sui bordi della tela e fatto colare il liquido in modo che entrasse negli spazi della Texture paste. Con le nuove polveri shimmer Nuvo ho fatto la stessa cosa per aggiunnere il primo tocco metallico.Poi ho mischiato la polvere da embossing Brutus Monroe nel colore Mermaid tail con la polvere di Seth Apter Patina oxide e l'ho utilizzata su alcune parti dello stencil. Le altre parti dello stencil sono colorate con Gathered Twigs Distress Crayon.
For the base of my canvas, I used Antique Linen and Pumice stone ink pad, spraying here and there a few drops of water and drying immediately with the Heat tool. I added Tim Holtz's Splash stencil and after it dried I started coloring it. First I sprayed Distress ink spray Peacock feather and Cracked Pistachio on the edges of the canvas and poured the liquid so that it entered the spaces of the Texture Paste. With the new Nuvo shimmer powders, I did the same thing to add the first metallic touch. Then I mixed the Brutus Monroe embossing powder in the Mermaid tail color with the Seth Apter Patina oxide powder and I used it on some parts of the stencil. The other parts of the stencil are colored with Gathered Twigs Distress Crayon.
Per abbellire gli angoli alcune gocce di acrilico trasparente brutus Monroe che ho alterato con Alcohol inks Mixative Gunmetal.
To embellish the corners some Brutus Monroe Acrylic Bubbles that I altered with Alcohol inks Mixative Gunmetal.
Sui continenti della fustella Nuvo expanding Mousse e dietro una quantità di paper Dolls!
Spero vi sia piaciuto, essendo un lavoro ispirato all'ecologia i colori non potevano che essere questi: green e blue!
To create the reliefs of the continents Nuvo expanding Mousse and behind a lot of paper Dolls!
I hope you enjoyed it, being a work inspired by ecology the colors could only be these: green and blue!
