Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Sprinkles and Splatters Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to make something school/study related: Back To School!
Third week for our Designer Spotlight Anne Redfern aka Redanne, HERE her masterpieces!
Io ho preso un quaderno rimasto inutilizzato da a mia figlia dallo scorso anno scolastico, di quelli con la copertina di cartoncino rigido e ho deciso di trasformarlo nel mio nuovo notes per appuntare le idee che mi vengono!
Per iniziare ho tagliato a misura delle copertine due pezzi di Heavystock e li ho coloratio con Distress Oxides. Poi con l'aiuto della Platform ho creato un insieme di numeri con il set di Tim holtz Stampers Anonymou. A questo punto ho inchiostrato i numeri con Walnut stain e Vintage Photo versione oxides poi ho spruzzato leggermente acqua direttamente sopra ai timbri. A questo punti ho chiuso la platform e tenuto premuto per un attimo in modo che l'acqua facesse il suo effetto.
Adoro quest'effetto di imprecisione, coi bordi sfumati, allargati insomma non perfetti!
I have taken a notebook that has not been used by my daughter since last school year, those with a thick cardboard cover and I decided to turn it into my new notebook to pin the ideas that come to me!
To start I cut two pieces of Heavystock, same size of two covers and I colored them with Distress Oxides. With the help of Tim's Platform I created a design with numbers from Tim holtz Stampers Anonymous Merchant. At this point I inked the numbers with Walnut stain and Vintage Photo (oxide version) then I sprayed some water directly over the stamps. At this point I closed the platform and held it down for a moment so that the water did its effect.
I love this effect of imprecision, with blurred edges, enlarged, not perfect!
Per completare lo sfondo ho timbrato qua e là con il timbro Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Graph e aggiunto lo stencil Plus con Texture Paste. Prima di stendere la Texture paste ho aggiunto qualche goccia di Distress Paint Walnut stain e una goccia di Vintage Photo in modo da colorare la pasta.
To complete the background I stamped here and there with Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Graph and added the Stencil Plus with Texture paste. Before applying Texture paste, I added a few drops of Walnut stain Distress paint and one drop of Vintage Photo to color the dough.
Al centro un collage: ingranaggi tagliati con la fustella Tim Holtz Sizzix Gearhead e vari elementi Idea-ology, immancabile la Paper Doll, sapete che sono Paper Dolls addicted!
The central point is constituted by gears cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Gearhead dies and various elements Idea-ology, inevitable Paper Doll, you know that I am Paper Dolls addicted!
