Non è necessario che li usiate anche voi nelle creazioni che posterete ma se lo fate , saremo felici di vederne il vostro utilizzo! Per creare l'effetto resist avete davvero una vasta scelta: Embossing powders, Gesso, Masking fluid, Crayons ecc. ecc. Hi everyone! This week on Simon Says Monday Challenge Blog our theme is TRY TO RESIST!
Definition: Resist techniques in art use the incompatibility of two mediums to create layered effects with color and texture.
There are so many products that we can use to create a resist, Embossing Powder, Crayons, Molotow Pens, Masking Fluids and many more. We will be looking forward to seeing what you use!
We are showcasing RANGER PRODUCTS this week. You don’t have to use them to join in, but if you have them we would love to see them used.

Per me Ranger significa colore e non ho potuto resistere nell'usare una gamma arcobaleno di Distress sprays per la mia skinny card! L'effetto resist l'ho realizzato nel più tradizionale dei modi: con polvere da embossing , quella più consistente, non la tradizionale clear ma la Ultra thick, passata in più strati. Nella foto sotto i passaggi: preparazione sfondo con Distress sprays, embossing powder con stencil, copertura con Distress sprays black soot, effetto finale!
The resist technique is one of my favorite techniques! I started with the background for my skinny card, using Distress sprays in rainbow colors, Tim Holtz's mini stencil Splatters and Ranger Ultra Thick Embossing Powder CLEAR to create a resist effect! Third step: I mist Black soot Distress spray over the whole surface, making it appear my rainbow stains! I completed with lovely Crazy Bird and a wonderful phrase stamped with Ranger Embossing Powder SUPER FINE WHITE on acetate. Last picture: final effect !
Per colorare il mio Crazy bird ho usato i Mini distress come acquerelli dopo aver timbrato con Ranger Archival Jet black. Ovviamente colori arcobaleno anche per lui!
To color my Crazy bird I used the Mini distress as watercolors after having stamped with Ranger Archival Jet black. Obviously rainbow colors for him too!
La frase fa parte del set di Tim Holtz "Ponderings" e l'ho stampata con polvere Ranger da embossing bianca su acetato. Ho aggiunto qualche tocco di bianco con la fustella splatter Sizzix /Tim Holtz e con i cerchi sottilissimi a marchio Simon Says.
The phrase is a part of Tim Holtz's stamp set "Ponderings" and I've printed it with Ranger powder white embossing on acetate. I added some white touch with Sizzix / Tim Holtz's splatter and with circles branded Simon Says.
All'interno ho usato lo stencil Splatters nella dimensione più grande con i Distress Crayons!
Inside I used stencil Splatters in the largest size with Distress Crayons!

I had done a search for "Tim Holtz" and saw two Christmas tree tags that you made, that someone posted to Pinterest. I wanted to tell you how beautiful they are! (I'm not sure when you actually created them. One had "o' christmas tree" written on it.)
