Questa settimana la nostra sfida si basa sul riciclo di oggetti che normalmente getteremmo nella spazzatura!

This week our challenge has based on RECYCLE/UPCYLE!
With the throw away society that we live in we thought we should take a look through our ‘rubbish’ and use something that we would normally put in the bin!

For me it's impossible to throw away the products packaging, I save everything that it's possible! For today's challenge I recycled stiff cardboards that I find in the Burlap panel packs. I got these cardboards in 3 different tones and I thought to use them to create the background for three tags. I've mixed these shades with the 3 colors of Core'dinations Kraft core metallic and they work very well together! Mixed media die and Found relatives are the perfect finishing for my project!

Prima tag con cartoncino nero e cardstock metallic argento!
First tag Black cardstock and Silver cardstock!
Ho usato una fustella da embossing super classica di Tim Holtz sul cartoncino e poi ho alterato con Distress Paints Brushed pewter , mentre per l'ovale ho usato il cardstock metallic Silver Core'dinations embossato e colorato con Black soot.
I used an embossing folder by Tim Holtz on the black cardtsock , I altered it with Brushed pewter Distress Paint. To cut the oval I used Core'dinations Kraftcore Metallic ( silver), I used the same folder and I colored it with Black soot.
Seconda tag con cartoncino marrone sfumatura rossa e cardstock copper
Second tag Brown/red and Copper metallic cardstock
Io conservo anche quasi tutti i ritagli dei background colorati che creo perchè ... non si sa mai! infatti a volte servono! Con i ritagli di questo progetto ho potuto tagliare i cuori rossi!
I also keep all the scraps of colored backgrounds that I create! here, you can see the shapes of one leaf that I used in this project! With the scraps I cut the little hearts!
Terza tag con cartoncino marrone sfumatura gialla e cardstock oro!
Third tag Brown/yellow and Cardstock metallic Gold!
In questa tag per creare lo sfondo ho usato un timbro con Versamark e Vintage foil Ranger
( adoro il Vintage foil!!!).
In this tag to create the background I used a stamp with Versamark and Vintage foil Ranger
(I love the Vintage foil !!!).
Ho usato tre elementi che fanno da filo conduttore per le mie tag e le rendono parte di un un unico progetto: le etichette prese dal paper stash Regions beyond, le parole tagliate con le Thinlits Words script e i numeri.
I used three elements that form the common thread for my tags and make them part of a single project: the labels from paper stash Regions Beyond, the words cut with Thinlits Words script and numbers.

A magnificent trio - love the metallic shimmer and fabulous collaged elements. There's a real glow about these tags, and I love them. Sorry I've missed so many brilliant creations - but it's great to get a bit of time to catch up a little.
