Premesso che prima di scrivere questa parola sono andata ad accertarmi sulla Treccani online perchè ho sempre dubbi! Detto questo l'inverno non c'e' stato , almeno in Italia , almeno nel Nord Italia dove vivo, per cui RAY OF SUNSHINE per me oramai è la normalità!
Per preparare questa sfida l'intero DT ha usato prodotti di DINA WAKLEY! E qui sbizzarritevi: stencil, timbri e acrilici fantastici! Ogni tanto mi piace sfidare me stessa e uscire dalla mia "comfort zone"! Eccovi il risultato!
Hi everyone! After the long winter months we are looking forward to summer!
We are showcasing Dina Wakley Products this week, you don’t have to use them, but if you have them we would love to see them used!
I love so much Dina's style and this week I was very happy to create with her wonderful products! It was really fun to mix Dina's stamps and stencils with Distress Paint ! Scribbly birds are absolutely cute! I left my comfort zone and I just used my hands without thoughts , this is the result!
Mi sono proprio lasciata andare senza pensare a niente, solo colore, colore, colore!
I have abandoned myself, thinking nothing: just color, color, color!
Non posso nemmeno dirvi com'è uscito dalle mie mani questo lavoro perchè non lo so! So solo che ogni tanto mi piace far vedere a tutti la mia parte di anima colorata! Ho usato per lo sfondo i Distress Paints, dopo aver ricoperto di gesso una mega tag misura 12.
Come attori principali gli uccellini di Dina sono spettacolari !
Prima di partire con questo lavoro mi sono un pochino studiata Dina che secondo me è un'artista piena di anima e sentimento, la adoro! Ovviamente non è il mio solito stile ma ogni tanto fa bene sfidare se stessi!
For the background I used tag size 12 covered with Gesso and painted with Distress paints. Scribbly birds are so cute and I love them , they are the perfect stars of my project! I also used a wonderful set of stamps and stencil by Dina!
This project is far away from my style, but sometimes it's nice to show the most colorful side of my soul! I really enjoyed doing it!

Cavoli se mi piaci anche in questa versione colorata!!! E' stupenda questa tag, a parte la scelta meravigliosa dei colori, adoro i dettagli delle cuciture, le macchioline blu, il washi tape ...me la sto mangiano con gli occhi!
Beh e' un vero e proprio raggio di sole! Non so se la riconoscerai come tua, un po distante dai tuoi colori, ma sicuramente i miei preferiti , e a me piace tantissimo!
This tag looks like pure joy! I like how you say you just abandoned yourself. The birds are colored beautifully and look so happy with the colors and texture on the tag. Marvelous!
So, so pretty Barbara, I just love what you did with those scribbely birds, the background is just wonderful too!! I think we all need a little ray of sunshine, - here the wind is howling, - for me summer can not come soon enough....
Really stunning use of colour - just love how the birds are so zingy in contrast to the background - and those dotted hearts look amazing. Wow, what a fantastic tag!

Wow, Barbara! I think you get the colorful award for this tag!! I love all the bright colors, and the contrast between the blue-green birds and all the orange, yellow...on the background. There are a ton of stamps, but it all pulls together and is just gorgeous!

Once again you have created a little mini masterpiece here! I adore everything about this and I thought it was especially clever how you used the hearts in the background-- I like how they're going in different directions, yet the whole thing looks unified. I also really like how you did the stitching detail. Excellent!
