Ciao a tutti!
Hi to everyone! It’s time to think of the men in our lives and create something for them, maybe a masculine canvas to hang in their den, or a notebook for their desk, whatever you create we will be looking forward to seeing it! This week I literally interpreted the theme of our challenge! I thought about a gentleman, one of my favourite stamps by Tim Holtz! I've always loved this Gentleman with his vintage style and I wanted to try to make him sparkle with new Distress Glitter Dust Vintage Platinum! A little star, a pretty ribbon and now he is ready for the next Christmas!
Vado oltre!
I love to use a corrugated cardboard like base and I created a little winter scene.
I stamped my gentleman with Archival ink black and I literally covered it with the new Distress Glitter Dust Vintage Platinum. Now ... I have to spend some words for this new little gem! I don’t know if you've tried it, but if you did, you can't live without it! It’s spectacular, so brilliant and vintage at the same time, it isn’t excessive as different glitters…..it’s just ... perfect!
I used my favorite colors, I have prepared a background with Distress sprays and I cut Manila Cardstock with Sizzix Birch trees die. A star on top and a pretty ribbon and Christmas is here!

This is wonderful and a great tribute to all men. I love the corrugated card and all the glitter. Just wonderful.
Excellent!
Love that birch tree die cut...I think I need that!
Wow, Barbara! Love this so much! Love the color combo and the glittery gentleman. The corrugated background is perfect. So pretty! Hugs, Sandra

This is such a wonderful creation! I love how you made it manly and masculine, but still kept it fancy with the glitter. That was a brilliant combination and I also love the birch trees in the background. You are so skilled at creating neat little scenes!
Fabulous colour combination - some of my favourites, and I love the gentleman striding through the birch forest, as well as the brilliant corrugated background and enamelled lettering - I think the letters are my favourite bit!
