SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE NOT A CARD

Ciao a tutti! Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog oggi vi propone come argomento di creare qualcosa che ... non sia una card, qualsiasi cosa voi vogliate purchè non sia una card! Mi sembra facilissima! Vi aspettiamo!

La mia scelta è caduta sulle tags, il mio elemento preferito, la mia vera comfort zone!
Ho iniziato la stagione natalizia con due cards, continuerò da adesso in avanti sicuramente con tante tags e altri progetti anche 3D, ma credo che il tema sarà per un certo periodo di tempo solo natalizio! Del resto è la mia stagione preferita dell'anno!

My choice fell on the tags, my favorite element, my real comfort zone!
I started the Christmas season with two cards, I will continue from now on surely with many tags and other 3D projects, but I think the theme will be only Christmas for a certain period of time! After all, it's my favorite season of the year!


La prima tag l'ho realizzata con una tecnica che adoro, utilizzando la crackle paste con lo stencil e cospargendo il disegno dello stencil con diversi colori di Embossing Glaze ( i materiali li trovate come sempre alla fine).
Per lo sfondo ho utilizzato Distress spray stain e siccome il colore era troppo scuro. ho schiarito con uno strato di gesso diluito con acqua.  Ho scelto per timbrare il background le note musicali dal set The Poinsettia di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous. Dallo stesso set anche il timbro che ho utilizzato con polvere Liquid Platinum ai lati della tag. Ultimo tocco qualche stella lo stencil Sparkle nella versione Mini che fa parte del Mini Set 44.
Risultato una Vintage tag super classica! 

I made the first tag with a technique I love, using crackle paste with the stencil and sprinkling the stencil design with different colors of Embossing Glaze (the list of materials is as always at the end).
For the background, I used Distress spray stain and as the color was too dark I lightened with a layer of white gesso diluted with water. I chose the musical notes from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous's The Poinsettia set to stamp the background. From the same set also the stamp I used with Liquid Platinum powder on the sides of the tag. The last touch...some stars created with Sparkle stencil in the Mini version which is part of the Mini Set 44.
The result is a super classic Vintage tag!





La seconda tag è un pochino più pazzerella. Ho voluto provare la pasta Nuvo Expanding Mousse con lo stesso stencil  Poinsettia Duo che ho utilizzato per la prima tag. Il risultato mi piace , è particolare e diverso dal solito. Per il Background ho usato un piccolissimo timbro con le stelle dal set Christmastime 3. Usato insieme all'inchiostro dorato Delicata dona molta luce allo sfondo nero. Per illuminare ancora di più ho inserito al centro di ogni stella un piccolo punto di Stickles. Una spruzzata di gesso bianco per ricordare l'inverno e una piccola Doll e il gioco è fatto! 

The second tag is a little bit crazier. I wanted to try the Nuvo Expanding Mousse paste with the same Poinsettia Duo stencil I used for the first tag. I like the result, it's special and different from usual. For the background I used a very small stamp from the Christmastime 3 set. Used together with the Delicate Gold ink it gives a lot of light to the black background. To illuminate it even more, I inserted a small point of Stickles in the center of each star. A splash of white chalk to remember winter and a little Doll and that's it!

STARTING CHRISTMAS SEASON

Ciao a tutti! oggi voglio proporvi le prime due card che ho realizzato per la incredibile diretta facebook di Tim Holtz ! Durante la diretta Tim ha prersentato la nuova collezione di Stampers Anonymous per la stagione natalizia e io voglio ringraziare Tim Mario Paula e Mr. Ted per avermi permesso di far parte di questo evento!

Hello everyone! today I want to show you the first two cards I made for epic Tim Holtz's Facebook live! During the live Tim revealed the new Stampers Anonymous collection for the Christmas season and I want to thank Tim Mario Paula and Mr. Ted for asking me to participate in this event!





Per la prima card ho utilizzato due dei nuovi set: Bold Tidings 1 CMS418 e Retro Flakes CMS417. Ho utilizzato un cartoncino kraft per la base della card e una Heavystock tag per timbrare il sentiment.
Nella prima foto potete vedere quali Distress Stain Spray ho utilizzato. Il secondo passaggio è stato timbrare con il gesso bianco qualche fiocco di neve del snuovo set. Purtroppo manca la foto del terzo passaggio ma è semplice e lo posso spiegare. Timbrate con Distress Ink Oxide Pad Speckled Egg il sentiment e versate subito dopo Embossing Glaze nello stesso colore. Tagliate la tag a misura della vostra card.
Quarto passaggio: preparate il cartoncino kraft timbrando con l'aiuto della pèlatform i fiocchi di neve con inchiostro bianco. Lasciandoli in posizione nella platform utilizzate Distress Embossing Dabber e polevre Stcki. Una voltaz scaldate la poòlvere versateci sopra il glitter ( materiali alla fine come sempre). Passate Vintage photo Distress ink pad sui borfi e aggiungete qualche abbellimento. Finita!

For the first card, I used two of the new sets: Bold Tidings 1 CMS418 and Retro Flakes CMS417. I used kraft paper for the base of the card and a Heavystock tag to stamp the sentiment.
In the first photo, you can see which Distress Stain Spray I used. The second step was to stamp some snowflakes from the new set with white chalk. Unfortunately, the photo of the third step is missing but it is simple and I can explain it. Stamp the sentiment with Distress Ink Oxide Speckled Egg and pour Embossing Glaze in the same color immediately afterward. Cut the tag to fit your card.
Fourth step: prepare the kraft cardstock by stamping the snowflakes with white ink with the help of the platform. Leaving the snowflakes in place in the platform, use Distress Embossing Dabber and  Sticky embossing powder. Once you heat the powder, pour the glitter on it (materials at the end as always). Use Vintage Photo Distress ink pads over the borders and add some embellishments. Finished!

Seconda card è realizzata con il favolososet  Snarky Cat Christmas CMS 416 e lo stencil Flurries con i fiocchetti di neve!
Timbrate il vostro gatto e coloratelo, io ho scelto una colorazione semplicissima perchè volevo che risaltasse molto il contrasto tra lo sfondo e il gatto.
Per lo sfondo blu ho utilizzato tre Distress Stain Spray nella tonalità blu. Ho aggiunto i fiocchi di neve usando i fiocchi di neve insieme alla Grit paste e versando immediatamente i Glitter. 
Ho stampato il sentimento con polvere da embossing bianca e creato diversi strati con cartoncini nero e argento. Ho aggiunto qualche cucitura bianca per creare una specie di cornice. Finita. Facili e veloci! A Natale c'è sempre un sacco di lavoro da fare!    

The second card is made with the fabulous Snarky Cat Christmas CMS 416 set and the Flurries stencil with snowflakes!
Stamp your cat and color it, I chose a very simple coloring because I wanted the contrast between the background and the cat to stand out.
For the blue background, I used three Distress Stain Sprays in the blue shade. I added the snowflakes by using them together with the Grit Paste and immediately pouring the Glitter.
I printed the sentiment with white embossing powder and created several layers with black and silver cardstock. I added some white stitching to create a kind of frame. Quick and easy! At Christmas, there is always a lot of work to do!
