SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE SPRITZ AND SPLATTER


Ciao a tutti! Oggi in Italia è un giorno importante, il lockdown viene un pochino ridotto, riaprono alcune attività e speriamo che le persone capiscano bene e agiscano responsabilmente di conseguenza! Durante questo periodo difficile noi di Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog siamo sempre con voi e anche oggi vi proponiamo la nostra sfida, tema Spritz and Splatter. Divertente vero?
Oggi primo Lunedì di Maggio tutto il Design Team utilizza prodotti di Paper Artsy e abbiamo una nuova Designer Spotlight Cath Wilson aka Inky Fingers, sate un'occhiata al suo bellissimo blog!
Come forse saprete, lo store di Simon Says Stamp accetta nuovi ordini, ma per il momento ha tempi di spedizione più lunghi a causa del coronavirus. Tenendo in mente questo, abbiamo preso la difficile decisione di sospendere il buono da $ 50 per questa sfida.

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Anything But A Card Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to
SPRITZ AND SPLATTER
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Paper Artsy. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
This week we are welcoming the lovely Cath Wilson aka Inky Fingers into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!
As you may know, the  Simon Says Stamp Store is accepting new orders, but have longer shipping times for the moment due to the coronavirus. With this in mind, we have made the difficult decision to suspend the $50 voucher for this challenge.
We know that many people are staying safe at home and we would love it if you would continue to enter the challenges and have fun! We are all in this together!



Oggi sono incredibilmente riuscita a fare qualche foto dei passaggi principali della mia tag!
Eccoli qui sotto, spero siano abbastanza chiari!   Vi dico solo che la base della tag è cartoncino Heavystock e che come potete vedere sono praticamente ossessionata dalle polveri Embossing Glaze!
Per realizzare le macchie di colore e gli abbellimenti ho utilizzato gli Infusions di paper Artsy, sono polveri magiche, davvero divertenti da usare e con bellissimi effetti!
Dalle foto vedrete che dopo aver colorato la tag con i Distress oxide ink pads e aver utilizzato con la polvere Weathered Wood ho steso il Gesso Clear per isolare tutta la tag. Volevo che le macchie che già si erano create  òle sfumature non si mischiassero con gli Infusions.

Today I was incredibly able to take some pictures of the main passages of my tag!
Here they are below, I hope they are clear enough! I just tell you that the base of the tag is Heavystock cardboard and that as you can see I'm practically obsessed with Embossing Glaze powders!
To make the splatters and embellishments I used the Paper Artsy Infusions, they are magical powders, really fun to use and with beautiful effects!
From the photos, you will see that after coloring the tag with the Distress Oxide ink pads and using the Weathered Wood embossing glaze Powder with the stamp from Faded Type set I spread Clear Gesso to isolate the whole tag. I wanted the splatters and the Oxides not to mix with the Infusions.

A VINTAGE JOURNEY CHALLENGE BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS

Ciao a tutti! Primo del mese e nuova sfida su A Vintage journey Cahllenge Blog. Seppur strana per tutti noi la primavera ci porta come sempre fiori e colori! Per questo abbiamo deciso che il tema di questo mese sarà Beautiful Blooms.
Potete scegliere di usare timbri,fustelle, fiori già pronti, fiori veri, stencil,fiori singoli o interi mazzi di fiori!
Ricordate  solo di creare il vostro tuo progetto in uno dei nostri stili preferiti: vintage, shabby, mixed media, journaling,  industrial o steampunk.

Hi everyone! First of the month and a new challenge on A Vintage Journey Challenge Blog. Although strange for all of us, this spring brings us flowers and colors as always! This is why we have decided that this month's theme will be Beautiful Blooms.
Flowers are a perennial favorite for most of us, so this month we would love to see your beautiful blooms showcased on your project. You might choose to use a die-cut, stamps, readymade, homemade, or pressed flowers .... a single flower or a whole bouquet. Just remember to create your project in one of our preferred styles: vintage, shabby, mixed media, art journaling, industrial, timeworn, or steampunk.


Ho iniziato colorando con alcuni Distress Stain nelle sfumature verdi e azzure una Heavystock tag.

I started by coloring a Heavystock tag with some Distress Stains in green and blue shades.
Per completare lo sfondo ho utilizzato la tecnica della paste Crackle con le nuove polveri Embossing Glaze. Mi sono molto divertita a mischiare i colori e l'effetto è sempre strepitoso!

To complete the background I used the Crackle paste technique with the new Embossing Glaze powders. I had a lot of fun mixing the colors and the effect is always amazing!


Anche per il vaso ho utilizzato una tecnica che mi piace tantissimo, Eroded Metal. Come base anzichè i Distress paint ho utilizzato le paste di prima marketing, perchè volevo ottenere un effetto con più texture, non troppo piatto e alla fine dopo aver utilizzato Antiquesd Bronze Distress paint, ho passato un velo di Distress Crayon Rusty Hinge per opacizzare un pochino ( manca la foto scusate!).

Also for the pot, I used a technique that I like very much, Eroded Metal. As a base instead of the Distress paint I used Mint and  Blue Prima Marketing pastes, because I wanted to obtain a more textured effect, not too flat and in the end, after using Antiqued Bronze Distress paint, I spread a veil of Distress Crayon Rusty Hinge to opacify a little (missing the photo sorry!).
Con gli stessi materiali, Distress e polveri da embossing ho colorato il mio piccolo pennuto tagliato con la fustella di Tim Holtz Feathered Friends.

With the same materials, distress and embossing powders I painted my little bird cut with the Tim Holtz Feathered Friends die.


Gli ultimi dettagli: due farfalle dal pack Idea-ology Ephemera Pack Field Notes, il sentiment e una piccola rate tagliata con la fustella Mixed media.

The last details: two butterflies from the Idea-ology Ephemera Pack Field Notes pack, the sentiment and a small net cut with the Mixed media die.
