SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE NAUTICAL



Ciao a tutti e grazie di essere qui anche in questa stagione di vacanze! Ispirati proprio da questo oggi Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog vi suggerisce un tema perfetto per questi giorni: NAUTICAL! Facile trovare l'ispirazione!
Seconda settimana per la nostra Designer Spotlight di Agosto Simona Rebecchi aka Ginny and the sheep, orgogliosamente italiana, non perdetevi il suo BLOG! 

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
Thank you for joining us for our Birthday Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to join us on an ocean adventure by creating something Nautical.
Definition: of or relating to sailors, ships, or navigation:
Many of our friends have spent their summer vacation on board cruise ships, some have been boating on lakes, and some have been sailing across one of the seven seas, we would like you to cruise along with us and create something with sea related voyages in mind.
Second week for Simona Rebecchi aka Ginny and the sheep as Designer Spotlight of this month! Here her fabulous BLOG!


Ho preparato una tag con stencil, distress ink pad e Distress Oxide.  Sono partita con Stencil Mosaic di Tim Holtz e Blueprint sketch. Poi ho creato l'effetto resist con Versamark e polvere Clear riposizionando lo stencil e tamponando col Versamark. A questo punto ho lavorato con gli Oxides per riempire gli spazi: Walnut stain, Vintage Photo e Antique linen. Più sotto potete vedere meglio l'effetto.

I have prepared a tag with stencil, distress ink pad and Distress Oxide. I started with Stencil Mosaic by Tim Holtz and Blueprint sketch. Then I created the resist effect with Versamark and Clear powder,  repositioning the stencil and dabbing with the Versamark. At this point I worked with the Oxides to fill the spaces: Walnut stain, Vintage Photo and Antique linen. Below you can see the effect very closely.





Non so se ve ne siete accorti, ma io adoro il set Sea Life di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous! Mi piace veramente moltissimo e credo che possa diventare un classico da avere  assolutamente! Ho creato 3 oblo' da cui vedere pesci e flora marina, ho rifinito con Textured Surface, il foglio di sughero e Crinkle ribbon.

I do not know if you've noticed, but I adore Sea Life set by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous! I like it very much and I think it can become a classic must-have! I created three portholes from which to see fishes and other glimpse of marine life, I finished with Textured Surface, the cork sheet,  and Crinkle ribbon.

SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY





Ciao a tutti! Oggi è un giorno speciale per Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog! E' il nostro  compleanno, quindi il nostro tema poteva essere solo questo HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Non credo abbiate bisogno di spiegazioni su come interpretarlo, potete partire come ho fatto io da una card e arrivare all'allestimento della tavola per la festa di compleanno! Sbizzarritevi!
Primo lunedì di agosto e come sempre siamo in vetrina con un marchio unico: questa settimana tutto il DT ha preparato progetti con gli splendidi prodotti del nostro stesso marchio SIMON SAYS STAMP! 
E siccome è sempre il primo lunedì del mese abbiamo una nuova Designer Spotlight di cui ( ammetto che non sono imparziale questa volta concedetemelo!) vado orgogliosissima... perchè è italiana: la talentuosa Simona Rebecchi aka Ginny and the sheep, QUI il suo blog, non ve lo perdete!

This week we are challenging you to join us for our 7th Birthday celebrations Happy Birthday!
We would like you to create something to help with our birthday celebration! It could be a card, a tag to attach to a gift, a gift or maybe a birthday banner or cake topper! Whatever you decide to make we will be looking forward to seeing how you join us for the party!
As it is the first Monday of the month, as as it is our birthday, we are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp Products!
This month we are welcoming the lovely and super talented Simona Rebecchi  aka Ginny and the Sheep. I am sure you will have all visited her fabulous blog but just in case you missed it you really need to drop by, it is full of awesome eye candy!


Questa settimana mi sono autopreparata una card visto che il 10 Agosto sarà anche il mio di compleanni! Ho usato tutti prodotti di Simon Says Stamp a parte i Distress Oxides che mi sono serviti per colorare la card!

This week the card I prepared is.... for myself! August 10 will also be my birthday! I used only Simon Says Stamp products except the Distress Oxides that  I used to color the card!




Al centro della card una fustella bellissima Floral Burst Collage Wafer Dies della collezione One of a kind! Mi ha molto divertito preparare l'arcobaleno di Oxides da inserire sotto  e mischiare questi colori al kraft, l'effetto è particolare!   Sulle cuciture vi prego di essere clementi, sapete che non sono il mio forte, ma ogni tanto mi piace lo stesso inserirle nei miei lavori!

For the focal point of my card I used a wonderful die: Floral Burst Collage Wafer Dies from by One of a Kind collection! I had a lot of fun preparing the Oxide Rainbow and mixing these colors with kraft, the effect is so special! I beg you to be kind about my stitches, you know they aren't my specialty, but sometimes I like to put it in my work!




Per le parole ho usato un set di timbri autunnale AUTUMN GREETINGS e per la parola B Day
la fustella BEST DAY EVER. Se vi chiedete come ho fatto la linea di puntini eccovi il segreto: il set di timbri ENVELOPE GREETINGS della collezione CHERISHED.

For the words I used a stamp from  AUTUMN GREETINGS set  and for the word B Day   BEST DAY EVER Wafer Dies. If you ask how I did the line of dots here is the secret:  ENVELOPE GREETINGS stamp set by CHERISHED collection.
