This week the theme is Home Sweet Home!
There are so many ways you can interpret this theme! Whether you choose to make a new home card or a home decor project, we will be looking forward to seeing what you create!

Questa settimana appena ho visto il tema ho pensato alle fustelle di Tim con casette di vario genere e anche al fatto che per me la casa è il posto del cuore, quello dove sto meglio, dove mi sento veramente me stessa sempre. Ho deciso di utilizzare una Etcetera tag, misura small e di alterarla con gesso, Distress paint, stencil e altro... insomma vogliamo dire Mixed media?
This week, as soon as I saw the theme, I thought that I finally get my new Tim's die Suburbia with different kind of houses and also the fact that home is my heart's place, where I feel good, where I really feel free. I decided to use an Etcetera tag, size small, altering it with gesso, Distress paints, stencil and more ... in short, we want to say Mixed Media?
Ho cominciato pensando al cuore e preparandolo con un foglio di Heavystock e Distress Oxides.Avevo bisogno di un cuore abbastanza grande e non fustelle di quella misura. Così ho pensato di utilizzare la fustella Tim Holtz Sizzix Petal Drop. Ho disegnato la forma sul foglio due volte ricavando il cuore nella misura che mi serviva. Potete vedere il passo passo.
I started thinking about my heart and I prepared it with a sheet of Ranger Heavystock and Distress Oxides. I needed of an heart quite big and I dont' have dies in this size! So I cut a petal from Tim Holtz Sizzix Petal Drop die. I drew the shape of the petal on the paper twice obtaining the heart in the size I wanted. You can see the step by step.
Finito questo step, sono passata al successivo, alterare la tag. Ho utilizzato gesso bianco, Texture paste con uno degli ultimi stencil e successivamente ho colorato con Distress Paints Antique linen, Stormy sky e Weatehred Wood.
After this step, I went to the next, alter the tag. I used White Gesso, Texture paste with a Tim's stencil and then I colored with Distress Paints: Antique linen, Stormy sky and Weathered 's Wood.
Una volta asciugato il lavoro, ho scelto un set di timbri che mi piace tantissimo di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, Sideshow. Ho utilizzato i numeri e le parti scritte con inchiostri Archival.
Once the work has dried, I chose a set of stamps that I love: Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, Sideshow. I used numbers and parts written with Archival inks on my tag.
Continuando nella colorazione non poteva mancare il mio Distress crayon preferito, Walnut stain insiema un tocco di Vintage foto su tutti i bordi e per il contorno de cuore.

My favorite Distress Crayon, Walnut stain together a touch of Vintage photos on all edges. In the last photo you can see all the houses I've cut!
Confesso: quando ho trovato questa chiave in un cassetto a casa di mia madre, ho esultato sapendo che l'avrei utilizzata prima o poi in qualche progetto. Mi sono ispirata a Kaz Hall aka The little shabby shed, splendida artista, che utilizza spesso oggetti very vintage nei suoi splendidi lavori.
I confess: I found this key in a drawer in my mother's house, I known that I would have used it sooner or later in a project. I was inspired by Kaz Hall aka The little shabby shed, a super talented artist who often uses vintage objects in her amazing works!
