Questi sono gli ultimi (forse...) progetti per festeggiare Halloween, che è davvero vicino! Ho continuato la mia serie di ritratti di Halloween usando due stencil per lo sfondo, come richiesto dal nostro tema!
Vi spiegherò rapidamente come ho usato gli stencil. Entrambi gli stencil nella versione mini sono di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, Batty per il primo e Flourish per il secondo. Per i pipistrelli ho usato la Ranger Texture Paste Black Opaque e ho cosparso di polvere da embossing nera. Una volta che la pasta si è asciugata ho usato lo strumento di calore e poi usando le dita ho evidenziato le irregolarità con Metallique Wax di Prima Marketing, Firebird. Ho usato Ranger Embossing Dabber e Embossing Glaze Scorched Timber per il secondo, quello con lo stencil Flourish. Se guardate la polvere non sembra lucida come al solito. Il piccolo trucco che ho usato per renderla un po' più opaca è di usare lo strumento di calore un po' più a lungo e di non rimuoverlo non appena la polvere si è sciolta e super lucida. Mi piace l'effetto soprattutto in lavori come questo, piuttosto dark! Spero che vi sia stato utile e che vi siano piaciuti i miei tag!
These are the last (maybe...) projects to celebrate Halloween, which is really close! I continued my series of Halloween portraits using two stencils for the background, as our theme required!
I'll quickly explain you how I used the stencils. Both stencils in the mini version are by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, Batty for the first and Flourish for the second. For the bats I used the Ranger Texture Paste Black Opaque and sprinkled with black embossing powder. Once the paste was dry I used the heat tool and then using my fingers I highlighted the irregularities with Metallique Wax by Prima Marketing, Firebird. I used Ranger Embossing Dabber and Embossing Glaze Scorched Timber for the second one, the one with the Flourish stencil. If you look at the powder it doesn't look as shiny as usual. The little trick I used to make it just a little more opaque is to use the heat tool a little longer and not remove it as soon as the powder is melted and super shiny. I like the effect especially in works like this, quite dark! I hope it was useful to you and that you liked my tags!
