Hi everyone! In this Monday in mid-July when the summer holidays are starting for everyone, our theme on Simon Says Monday Stamp Challenge Blog is NAUTICAL/BY THE SEA! We are curious to see your works!
This is the third week for our Designer Spotlight AIDA HARON LIFE AND PAPER CRAFTING, her works are always absolutely fantastic!
I took inspiration from the lessons of Creative Chemistry Summer of 2016 and I used a scrap of a Kraft paper resist by Tim Holtz together with Distress stains in their original version. If you can't find this paper resist , you can remedy by creating it with Archival ink, Versamark, clear embossing powder and Ranger cardstock in Kraft color.
For my background I used Mermaid Lagoon and Rusty hinge Distress stains, sliding the tag on the Ranger Non stick craft sheet after you have sprinkled with the colors you want to use. The secret is to dry immediately with the heat tool by moving the tag!
This tag is a triumph of Idea-ology products: from the bottle to the words through the fake ship's wheel (one of the new gears Tim Holtz!)! I love Idea-ology!
This stamp by Tim looks perfect as a symbol of travel and adventure ! I stamped it with Versamark and then embossed with Stampendous Aged Ivory powder. As I told you last week at this time I 'm obsessed by embossing powders! I altered also the ship's wheel with a mix of powders: Ranger Turquoise Antiquities and Stampendous Chunky Gold deep!
To alter the small metal globe I used Distress Crayons!

RispondiEliminaMagnificent tag! I love how the white embossed ship looks against the coloured kraft resist (I always forget about kraft resist, and it's so cool!). Brilliant work as always.
