SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE FAVORITE TECHNIQUE

Ciao a tutti e benvenuti a un'altra settimana su Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Grazie per aver partecipato alla sfida degli Alcohol inks e speriamo che lo farete di nuovo anche questa settimana. Oggi vi sfidiamo ad usrae la vostra Tecnica preferita. Poiché è il primo lunedì del mese, presentiamo un marchio / un'azienda. Questa settimana tutto il Dt utilizza i favolosi prodotti di PaperArtsy. Non siete obbligati ad usarli per partecipare alla sfida, ma se li avete ci piacerebbe vedere come li utilizzate. Questa settimana diamo il benvenuto all'adorabile Makena Bennet aka Avant_Card come Designer Spotlight di Dicembre. Se non la conoscete rimarrete sorpresi dal suo talento!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the Alcohol Inks Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week we are challenging you to make something use your: Favorite Technique. As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from PaperArtsy. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used. This week we are welcoming the lovely Makena Bennet aka Avant_Card into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Ho scelto una Etcetera Tag Mini ( la misura che amo di più) in versione totalmente festiva! L'abbinamento di colori è uno dei miei preferiti e l'ho realizzato utilizzando gli Infusions paper Artsy insieme ai Distress Paints. Vi lascio le foto del ttutorial con brevissima spiegazione!

I chose an Etcetera Tag Mini (the size I love the most) in a totally festive version! The color combo is one of my favorites and I made it using Paper Artsy Infusions along with Distress Paints. Below the photos of the tutorial with a very brief explanation!

Ho usato per la prima volta la nuova carta Heavystock bianca per preparare lo sfondo, fantastica come mi aspettavo! Ho disegnato la tag e ritagliata! A proposito della tecnica preferita  che è il tema della settimana, io non ho una tecnica particolare che preferisco, sia perchè mi piace cambiare sia perchè mi piace sperimentare. Potrei dire che le cose che preferisco usare sono timbri e stencils e che quello che mi piace di più realizzare sono gli sfondi.

I used the new white Heavystock paper for the first time to prepare the background, as fantastic as I expected! I drew the tag and cut it! About my favorite technique which is the theme of the week, I don't have a particular technique that I prefer, both because I like to change technique and because I love much to experiment. I could say that my favorite things to use are stamps and stencils and that what I like most to make are backgrounds.

Secondo step, stencil e texture paste. Ho scelto lo stencil Sparkle di Tim Holtz, ammetto che sono le mie stelle favorite!

Second step, stencil and texture paste. I chose Tim Holtz's Sparkle stencil, I admit they are my favorite stars!

Ora i colori! Distress paints nelle tonalità Speckled Egg e Tumbled Glass e Paper Artsy Infusions di varie tonalità di blu/azzurro. Ho steso mischiando con pennello e acqua i due acrilici poi spruzzando ancora pochissima accqua ho cosparso con una quantità davvero minima di infusions. Ho fatto muovere l'acqua e poi steso un pochino con il pennello e asciugato subito con Heat Tool.

Colors! Distress paints in Speckled Egg, Tumbled Glass, and Paper Artsy Infusions in various shades of blue/light blue. I spread by mixing the two acrylics with a brush and water, then I misted a very little quantity of water and sprinkling with a very minimal amount of infusions. I moved the tag to get the water running around,  then spread it a little with the brush and dried it immediately with the Heat Tool.

Per aggiungere brillantezza alle stelle, ho riposizionato lo stencils, utilizzato l'inchiostro Picket fence e subito dopo ho cosparso con Blending tool la colla Glossy. Risciacquate immediatamente lo stencil se lo fate perchè altrimenti si asciuga velocemente e dopo è più difficile pulirlo. Appena cosparsa la Glossy e tolto lo stencil versate a pioggia Distress Dry Glitter Clear Rock Candy, l'effetto ghiaccio migliore che io abbia trovato sul mercato!

To add sparkle to the stars, I repositioned the stencil, used Picket Fence ink, and immediately sprinkled the Glossy with the Blending Tool. Rinse the stencil immediately if you do it because otherwise, it dries quickly, and afterward it is more difficult to clean it. As soon as you sprinkle the Glossy and remove the stencil pour Distress Dry Glitter Clear Rock Candy, the best ice effect I have found on the market!

Come ultimo passaggio  per la preparazione dello sfondo, ho aggiunto il timbro con gli auguri dal set Christmastime 3 di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, timbrato con Dabber e polvere da embossing bianca, nel mio caso la Ranger Super Fine Detail.

As a final step in background preparation, I added the greeting stamp from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous's Christmastime 3 set, stamped with Dabber and white embossing powder, in my case the Ranger Super Fine Detail.

Ecco i dettagli così che possiate vedere da vicino le decorazioni tagliate con la fustella Ornamental Birds di Tim Holtz Sizzix. Il nastro fa parte della fustella Sizzix Thinlits Die Set Festive Greens 662425 di Tim Holtz non più in produzione.
