Start by saying that for me Monochrome is always a challenge among the most complicated and I'm not able to carry it out precisely! I always add some more colors ... but you know that colors are my obsession! Today I prepared two autumn houses with the two most classic shades of this season: red and green.
Colori usati :Aged Mahogany, Fired brick, Carved Pumpkin a Wild Honey.
The first house is in red and includes all the shades between yellow and purple through red and orange. You know that for me preparing backgrounds with Oxides is one of my favorite activities and even today I used this technique, easy but always impressive!
Colors used: Aged Mahogany, Fired brick, Carved Pumpkin and Wild Honey and a touch of Seedless preserves. After finishing the background I cut my Tiny House. I took the stamp with the writing from the Entomology set and I stamped it here and there with Thistle Archival ink. Skeleton leaves are really fabulous, usable in any way in any project, you must have absolutely, I'm sure they will become a classic! Here I used the largest in a shade of dark purple to contrast with the background. I added my beloved Paper Dolls and played with words!
For the roof I used an embossing die from Tim's oldest, pumpkin and leaves are part of a set not easy to find and that I proudly own: Thankful Background & Borders
For the second Tiny house same concept and design, color gradient from yellow lime green to blue-green.
Oxides used for this background: Crushed olives, Peeled paint and Broken China
