Hello everyone! My holidays are over and here I am on the last day of August to inaugurate Halloween season! Waiting for Mr. Bones, one of the wonderful new sets by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous I had fun creating a literary Halloween tag! Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favorite writers and his portrait is in the Idea-ology ephemera pack from last year so .....so I could not resist.
The raven was a must considering that I chose the title Nevermore .... repeated phrase in the poetry The Raven published in 1845 and randomly (or not?) I found this number inside Idea-ology package Halloween Clippings stickers!
For the stamped phrase I used Regions beyond set by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous.
The faux wood is cut with Planks By Sizzix tim Holtz and painted with Distress Oxides.
Per rendere super affascinante e misterioso il mio corvo ho utilizzato la polvere Rocky road di Seth Apter.
To make my raven mysterious and super charming, I used Seth Apter's Rocky road embossing powder
Post veloce ma intenso! Grazie per essere passati, ci vediamo lunedì per la prossima sfida di Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
Between the faux wood and the base I have added a gothic touch with Tim Holtz Sizzix Mixed media Halloween die.
Fast but intense post! Thanks for stopping by, see you on Monday!

Fabulous Barbara, love the touches of purple. Tracy ❤️
RispondiEliminaWow Barbara, this is an incredible tag! I love the way the raven looks with the rocky road powder! Poe is always a favorite, and using the planks was a wonderful way to display the words! Love it
RispondiEliminaYou are so creative. Wonderful tag.
RispondiEliminaLove this! I like your specific style on every project you make.
RispondiEliminaFabulous spookiness and a brilliant way to use those planks. I've had some of them sitting on my desk done in bleached turquoise ready for a summer beach project... guess it's too late for that now - I'll have to darken them up and build a haunted house instead!!

So spooktacular! I LOVE the strips of wood criss crossed. So much fun!
RispondiEliminaFantastic Poe & Raven Tag! I love this!
