Ciao a tutti!
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Mythology Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to add some doodling to your project Lets Doodle!
Doodling can be very relaxing, you can doodle a little or you can doodle a lot, whatever you doodle we will be looking forward to seeing it!
Third week for our Designer Spotlight, Paula Rooner aka PaNaRoo!
I confess: doodling is not my specialty, I'm not good at all and so I decided to limit my "scrawl" to the outlines of my backgrounds!
I made two tags with new stamp set Cocktail by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, beautiful and really cheerful and fun! These stamps made me think to the summer and so the choice was obvious: bright colors!
I started by choosing background and stamping it with Distress Paints on a black tag, using the Uniball pen Signo gel white I highlighted some outlines. I stamped two subjects, once on Ranger Watercolor cardstock with Archival Black soot and once on vellum with white ink and Ranger embossing powder white.
On the cardstock I colored with Distress ink and on the vellum I used the coloring trick on the back, so the lines stayed clean. I put stamped vellum on stamped cardstock and I glued.
I hope you enjoyed both versions of my super colorful tags!
