Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the Shimmer and Shine Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to add metal to your project. This can either be a metal charm, element, string or metallic embossing etc.
It is Carol’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your fabulous creations over the past few weeks! It has been a great pleasure having you along with us!
This week I went back to the Halloween theme and chose a metallized background for a splatter card! I'm a big fan of Tarantino and one of my favorite series of all time is Dexter ... now you can understand!
For the base of the card I used some scraps of Ranger Foil Tape sheets, I cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Claw Marks and I painted my base with Black soot Distress Paint and Black Soot and Hickory smoke Distress crayons.
This is what it takes to build the mummy !!!!
Particolari!
Close ups!
I used the new Tag press tool for the first time!!! I adore it! Number 31 is part of the Idea-ology Ephemera Halloween pack, once closed in the metal circle with Tag press I covered it with Glossy.
Below you see the splatter background, I used a Manila tag # 8 and Tim Holtz stencil Stripes. I sprayed my Barn door Distress spray on the stencil and then I put it on the tag!
