This week we are challenging you to Young At Heart
It is the first Monday of the month and that means that we are showcasing a specific company. This week we have chosen to showcase our very own Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Products. You can check out the latest ‘Hey Love’ release here, its full of ‘love-ly’ stamps, dies, stencils and more.
This week we are welcoming  Paper Profusion into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited Nicola’s blog before then you are in for a real treat, her work is fabulous!

My friends know that I am not very romantic, and that pink is not my color, but I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and experiment with this nuance, the occasion was perfect! I made a card with one of the new  Simon's wafer dies,  Best day ever, Valentine's Day is so close....

For the background I used  Brushstrokes set by Tim Holtz  and Distress ink from pink to gray to create an ombré effect.

Un tocco di idea-ology!

A little touch of Idea-ology!

To finish my card I used another lovely set from Simon Says Stamp, Mini heart.

  1. I wish I could post my comment in your lovely language, but I'm happy I can do so in English (well, my "Texan version" of English, that is. ;-) I was really impressed to see how beautifully Tim's new Stampers Anonymous set, "Brushstrokes" looks on a project! I actually passed up the opportunity to purchase that one, last week, but I think I'll be taking a drive out to my favorite craft store and hope they still have it! 😯 Your talent for putting lovely artwork together is a terrific inspiration, and I always enjoy seeing what you come up with! (especially this particular Challenge, as "pinks" aren't really "my colors", either!) Stepping outside your "comfort zone" suits you, very well!
