Hello everyone! I hope you're spending an enjoyable Sunday! In Italy today is a gloomy day and this morning cause the rainy weather, I had an unexpected inspiration themed Halloween! Here it is! Skull and blood....
Almost monochromatic, a few drops of blood here and there obtained with different Distress: Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany, Poppyfield Alchol ink and crayons!
I had not yet used Drip Edge die, I love it, neither the skull that is part of Regions beyond set by Tim Holtz! I really wanted to create something with these two elements!
I worked with various stencils and embossing powders, of course, a mix, I like a lot to experiment. In this work ingredients are Black, Platinum and Silver!
The attempt that most satisfied me is that, as you see above: stamp with Versamark and Frosted Crystal. Once heated the powder I have sprinkled over it Hickory Smoke Distress stain,I like so much this effect!

RispondiEliminaWhat a fantastic design Barbara full of eerie Halloween atmosphere, those blood red drops are the highlight for me xxx
RispondiEliminaWanted to stop by and say thank you for the kind words on my Halloween tag on the Monday Challenge Blog spotlight post. I appreciate it very much.
RispondiEliminaScrolling down, I screamed in fright at this bloody tag! The drip edge die is used so cleverly here and I suspect you will find many more creative (and always colorful) ways to use it.
I also like the frosted crystal technique and would really like to try using it as it looks very interesting.
Have a wonderful week! My best, ß.
