Ciao a tutti!
Hi to everyone! This week it is St Patrick’s Day on the 17th of March and for this challenge we are hoping for some of the luck of the Irish and adding some lucky stars to our creations!
Since last week we have as fabulous Guest Designer AMBER SHEAVES, If you haven’t visited her blog then you are in for a real treat. Please pop by to say ‘Hi’!
This is my first attempt with Distress Crayons and I already love them! "Crazy Cats" is one of my favourite set by Tim Holtz and I thought that together can give a lots of creative chances! For the background I chose the new Sizzix Mosaic and I used it as a stencil with Texture paste and a touch of Mica sprays, so my cat became a star!
Mini tutorial fotografico
Here's short tutorial with images
There are all steps, there is no need much explanation,! The only thing that I had never done is create a design over the texture paste with an embossing folder! It's very easy, just place the embossing folder with raised part on the texture paste and gently wipe the roller! I've painted my canvas with Distress crayons and my fingers, I didn't use brushes, it is more fun than ever!
I also tried the stencil effect with babywipes!
Here it is: one of my favorite cats! Definitely seems crazy but I like just because of this typical expression, here I used Distress crayons as watercolors, although I'm not absolutely able to coloring with this technique! These are only attempts!
Ora come sempre tocca a voi cominciare a creare e postare i vostri lavori!
