Christmas is definitely the time of year that I love more!!! I’ve chose one of my favourite challenge of the last year, December 2014: "Holiday cards" .
The card is pretty simple, I used many festive elements: metallic cardstock for the square frame, a little touch of Stickles for the colored snow, my beloved Mirrored stars and Wink of Stella for Santa Claus hat!
The hero is always my favorite Crazy Bird: I'm in love with his eyes!
For the tree I dusted off the technique Manila cardstock and Distress Paints in my favorite colors: Cracked Pistachio, Peacock feather, a trickle of Tumbled glass and lots of water!
Once it has dried, I cut with the new die "Festive Scribbles", really beautiful and versatile!

Such a wonderful Christmas card! Barbara I absolutey adore it . Your crazy bird looks allset for the holiday season . Gorgoeus texture on the inner frame . All christmas cards should be like this x
RispondiEliminaOMG I just love this card. I have to find that die... I have just got the birds set and now I am waiting for the hats and stuff I hate that we struggle to get stuff here. But this is just amazeballs... my fave.
RispondiEliminaAnd what a great card it is too Barbara. You have made the bird look like his eyes are full of wonder - perfect for the Christmas season. I love the great colours and the frame is incredible! Hugs, Anne xx
RispondiEliminaSuch a sweet card, I love the bird's expression as he looks at the tree. The colors are lovely and that frame looks like old leather.
RispondiEliminaAdorable card, Barbara! The non-traditional Christmas cards turned out really pretty :)

RispondiEliminaThis is gorgeous Barbara! I love that textured frame and the colouring of the bird. So pretty!
RispondiEliminaFabulous Christmas card, Barbara! The crazy bird looks stunning. Hugs, Sandra
RispondiEliminaReally lovely card, Barbara! I love how you gave it such sophisticated tints of metal and how you used an embellishment that said, "tinsel." I also liked how you gave your bird a beautiful light teal hat instead of the traditional red hat. Very clever work, as usual!
RispondiEliminaWell, you already know I adore the colour combination here... the crazy bird is adorable, and all your brilliant textural details make this card really sing.
