SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE SHAKE IT UP


Ciao a tutti! Tema di oggi su Simon Says tamp Monday Challemge Blog è Shake It Up! Aspettiamo di vedere come inserirete nei vostri lavori l'elemento shaker! Siamo curiosissimi di vedere dove vi porterà la fantasia!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.Thank you for joining us for the New/Unused Product Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.This week we are challenging you to Shake It Up, add a shaker element to your project eg shaker card, snow globe etc.


Dopo il periodo natalizio di solito ( a nache quest'anno sta succedendo) mi viene voglia di cambiare "argomento" e quindi anche materiale. Questa settimana ho pensato di aggiungere l'elemento shaker in una card steampunk, non è proprio usuale ma mi piaceva provare! In questo periodo sono anche in attesa e molto curiosa di vedere i nuovi prodotti per il 2021! Non vedo l'ora di solito sono sempre un'iniezione super positiva di creatività! 

After Christmas time usually (as every year happening) I want to change the "subject" of my projects and therefore also materials. This week I thought about adding the shaker element to a steampunk card, it's not really usual but I loved trying! In this period I am also looking forward and very curious to see the new products for 2021! Can't wait usually they are always a super positive injection of creativity!

Sono partita dalla fustella Foundry tagliata su un cartoncino della collezione Metallic 3 di Tim Holtz. Poi ho cominciato a stratificare. Ho utilizzato i Distress Paints nel colori Rusty Hinge, Crackling Campfire e Peacock Feather. ho fatto anche un piccolo esperimento usando qualche goccia di Alcohol Ink Espresso sopra a una goccia di Distress paint. L'effetto è particolare perchè l'Alcohol si espande e si fonde con l'acrilico, creando un colore diverso da entrambi che esteticamente somiglia un pochino alla porcellana. Poi si asciuga e si continua fino a che lo sfondo non è come nei vostri desideri. Io ho continuato utilizzando qualche cera opaca di Prima Marketing e qualche Distress Crayons. Per finire ho steso un velo di Medium matte. 
Per la parte Shaker ho scelto La misura 2,5 Inches di Sizzix Shaker Domes, Ho usato un ritaglio che mi era rimasto da un precedente lavoro e ho timbrato il cappello dal set The professor di Tim Holtz /Stampers Anonymous con un colore contrastante. nel mio caso ho usato un vecchio Adirondack della Ranger, Stream, ma se non l'avete visto che non è più in produzione ( sigh!), potete usare Peacock Feather. 
Sulla cupola trasparente ho usato Alcohol ink Mushroom e dentro ho aggiunto qualche ingranaggio di Idea-ology.
Il sentiment Thoughts & theories fa parte del set Noble Gent di Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous.
Gli ingranaggi al di fuori della cupola sono tagliati con la fustella Industrial (661817 fuori produzione) poi coperti con due paste e una cera di Prima Marketing.  

I started with the Foundry 3D folder on cardstock from Tim Holtz's Metallic 3 collection. Then I started to layering. I used Distress Paints in Rusty Hinge, Crackling Campfire, and Peacock Feather. I also did a little experiment using a few drops of Alcohol Ink Espresso on top of a drop of Distress paint. The effect is particular because the Alcohol expands and merges with the acrylic, creating a different color from both that aesthetically resembles a little bit of porcelain. Then, you have to wait for that's dries. So you continue until the background is as desired. I added some Prima Marketing opaque waxes and some Distress Crayons. Finally, I spread a veil of Medium matte.
For the Shaker part, I chose The 2.5 Inches size by Sizzix Shaker Domes, I used a cutout I had leftover from a previous job and stamped the hat from The Professor stamp set by Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous set with a contrasting color. In my case, I used an old Ranger Adirondack, Stream, but if you haven't it,  it is no longer in production (sigh!), you can use Peacock Feather.
On the clear dome, I used Alcohol ink Mushroom and added some Idea-ology gears inside.
The sentiment "Thoughts & theories" is part of Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous's Noble Gent set.
The gears outside the dome are cut with the Industrial die (661817 Discontinued) and then covered with two pastes and a Prima Marketing wax.

Non è proprio usuale trasformare una card in stile steampunk in una shaker card! Spero l'esperimento vi sia piaciuto!

SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE USE A NEW/UNUSED PRODUCT

 

Ciao a tutti e benvenuti a un'altra settimana su Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
Per primissima cosa auguri a tutti un anno migliore del 2020, incrociamo le dita!
Speriamo che il 2021 sia buono per tutti!
Oggi la sfida è utilizzare un prodotto nuovo / non utilizzato
Forse hai un prodotto da secoli o forse Babbo Natale ti ha lasciato un nuovo regalo sotto l'albero! Qualunque cosa sia, ci piacerebbe vederla!
Poiché è il primo lunedì del mese, presentiamo un marchio / un'azienda. Questa settimana utilizziamo tutti alcuni favolosi prodotti di Brutus Monroe. Non siete obbligati ad usarli per partecipare alla sfida, ma se li avete ci piacerebbe vederli usati.
Questa settimana diamo il benvenuto alla super talentuosa Anita Rao aka Beads Charms and Wire come Designer Spotlight per il mese di Gennatio! Se non avetemai  visitato il suo blog, vi aspetta una vera sorpresa!

This week we are challenging you to Use a New/Unused Product
Maybe you have had a product for ages or maybe Santa left you a new crafty gift under the tree! Whatever it is we would love to see it!
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Brutus Monroe. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
This week we are welcoming the lovely and super talented Anita Rao aka Beads Charms and Wire into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog you are in for a real treat! Please pop by to say ‘Hi


Ho iniziato quest'anno creativo pensando egoisticamente a me stessda e ho realizzato un piccolo quadernino per appuntare le mie idee creatice che a volte si affollanonella mia mente e se non le scrivo... le dimentico! 
Per la struttura ho utilizzato la fustella di Eileen Hull Wrapped Journal modificata tagliandone via una parte. 
Ho ricoperto la struttura usando alcuni fogli della collezione memoranda di Tim Holtz e ho timbrato un fiore dal set Flower Shop di Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous. Dopo aver timbrato il fiore con Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink Pad, ho lasciato tutto in posizione sulla platform e ho timbrato di nuovo con Dabber. A questo punto ho versato la polvere Icicle di Brutus Monroe. 

I started this creative year selfishly thinking of myself and I made a small notebook to write down my creative ideas that sometimes get crowded in my mind and if I don't write them ... I forget them!
For the structure I used the modified Eileen Hull Wrapped Journal die cutting off part of it.
I covered the structure using some sheets from Tim Holtz's Memoranda collection and stamped a flower from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous's Flower Shop set. After stamping the flower with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink Pad, I left everything in place on the platform and stamped again with Dabber. At this point, I poured the Brutus Monroe Icicle Powder.
